The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated professional to assist customers in implementing CentralSquare software solutions and interfaces. Reporting to a Professional Services Manager this role involves reviewing business processes, documenting requirements, configuring systems, conducting testing, and supporting system rollouts. Additionally, the position requires collaboration with development teams to define professional services strategies, estimates, and value propositions while ensuring the successful delivery of customer value-added services. The ideal candidate will also have experience integrating third-party software solutions to enhance system functionality and interoperability.

Job Duties Include:

  • Develop and maintain expertise in configuring our software solutions.
  • Ensure consistent follow-through on project tasks, deliverables, and communications with the Project Manager and clients.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with customers.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, meeting project deadlines and taking ownership of issues and assignments.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams and personalities both internally and externally.
  • Review and quality-check the work of other consultants as needed.
  • Mentor junior team members to support skill development and maintain a high-performing team.
  • Provide assistance on escalations for small/medium projects and offer consultation on larger projects with managerial support.
  • Identify and implement new professional services tools and software to enhance productivity.
  • Proactively address and mitigate recurring issues in future implementations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or an associate’s degree/certification with equivalent work experience.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing business and customer needs with a high degree of flexibility.
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Quick learner, capable of grasping new applications and system features efficiently.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to improving the user experience.
  • Experience in integrating third-party software, including working with APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), and middleware tools.
  • Strong ability to articulate technical and functional concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Advanced experience in scripting/coding, including API, SQL, JSON, HTML, and XML.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and working knowledge of MS SQL Server.
  • Technical proficiency, depending on the assignment, may include:
    - Operating Systems (Windows & Linux-based)
    - RDBMS, including MS SQL
    - AWS (Amazon Web Services)
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

CJIS Clearance 

A required part of the onboarding process for this role involves obtaining CJIS (Criminal Justice Information Services) clearance—a critical credential for safeguarding public safety data. At CentralSquare, we’ll stand with you every step of the way to secure this clearance should you be selected for hire. As part of the process, a comprehensive background check will be conducted, and please note that U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is generally required to obtain CJIS clearance.
