Job Summary
Centric Software is seeking a Technical Solutions Architect to join our global Planning & Pricing team. This is a non-customer-facing role focused on enabling presales and delivery teams by designing, building, and optimizing the technical components of our planning solution. You’ll be a critical behind-the-scenes force, translating opportunity requirements into scalable configurations, creating demo environments, and helping our go-to-market teams shine.
Ideal for someone coming from post-sales, delivery, or implementation who enjoys deep technical work, this role is all about building from the inside—no early-morning customer calls or presentations required. Our Planning platform is first-generation and evolving, so we need someone who’s both resourceful and excited about crafting solutions in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
You’ll be part of a global team of passionate problem-solvers supporting major transformation projects across the fashion and retail industries.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000 - $150,000 plus variable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. The range for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed reflect the base salary and certain positions may be offered with additional variable incentives.

Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with presales and product teams to analyze opportunity documentation, identify product gaps, and translate requirements into technical configurations
- Design and configure solution prototypes and internal demo environments to support sales and delivery teams
- Provide technical assessments of feasibility, documenting what the platform currently supports and what needs to be built
- Create and maintain internal solution documentation such as technical specifications, scope statements, and use case documents
- Build and validate solution components within internal test environments for scale and functionality
- Support the creation of RFP/RFI responses and other sales documentation with technical detail
- Drive the creation and improvement of internal configuration templates, test plans, and validation processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, delivery, and R&D to align platform development with customer and market needs
- Offer insights into technical gaps and recommend enhancements for future product development
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field
- Strong hands-on SQL skills (MS SQL Server)—you’re confident writing, optimizing, and modeling complex queries
- Familiarity with data pipelines and architecture; knowledge of tools like Azure Data Factory is a plus
- Experience configuring or developing enterprise software—ideally in retail planning, pricing, merchandising, or supply chain systems
- Ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications with precision
- Solid documentation and organizational skills—you keep things clear, structured, and repeatable
- A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills to support internal teams
- Interest in working on an evolving product with real influence on design and scalability
Nice to have
- Experience in post-sales, implementation, or solution delivery roles
- Background with retail planning platforms or experience working for a competitor
- Knowledge of enterprise applications such as ERP, PLM, or APS systems
- Advanced SQL performance tuning or experience with data modeling
- Familiarity with Power BI or other BI tools for data visualization
- Understanding of data science or predictive analytics concept
