Your Team and Role

As a Technical Sourcer on the Talent Acquisition team, you'll be critical in scaling teams working to build our all-in-one privacy solution and accelerating DuckDuckGo's capacity to achieve our mission. Leveraging your communication and people skills, you'll build great relationships with prospective candidates and nurture them until they're ready to make the jump.

About You
  • 5+ years of experience sourcing technical roles.

  • In-depth knowledge of effective sourcing avenues and proven experience finding creative ways to uncover hidden pockets of talent.

  • Strong communication skills — you can clearly articulate recommendations and decisions, whether verbal or written.

  • Ability to validate the effectiveness of your sourcing strategies by leveraging market data and efficient feedback loops.

  • Experience in building diverse pools of talent across multiple technical disciplines globally.

  • Experience in using market mapping, data and insights to influence key stakeholders to improve the efficiency of the hiring process.

Compensation

$129,000 USD annually and stock options. Compensation is identical within professional levels, regardless of geographic location or team. Compensation for each professional level is transparent across the organization.

Please note that:
  • You’ll be required to attend meetings on camera via video conferencing.

  • Expect to travel at least two times a year: once for our all-hands meetup and again for a team retreat (each around 4-5 days). While extenuating circumstances may impact attendance, everyone is strongly encouraged to attend.

  • While we offer a flexible work arrangement with no core hours, expect an average full-time commitment of 40 hours per week.

  • A successful candidate must pass a background check as a condition of joining the team.
