Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality content for our SAAS based software, ensuring it is concise, clear, and easy to understand for a non-technical audience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and customer support, to gather information and understand the features and functionalities of our product.
- Write user-friendly content, such as tooltips, how-to-guides, tutorials, FAQs, and troubleshooting articles, to help users navigate our platform and resolve common issues.
- Translate complex technical concepts into simple language that is accessible to non-technical users.
- Regularly update and maintain existing content to ensure accuracy, relevancy, and alignment with the latest product updates.
- Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing and intuitive designs, screenshots, and visuals to enhance the understanding of the content.
- Continuously improve content quality by gathering user feedback, analyzing user behavior and making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Apply UX writing principles to ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience across all content touch points.
Profile:
Profile
- Proven experience as a technical writer or content writer, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
- Experience in UX writing, creating user-centered content that guides users through interfaces.
- Experience in creating content for a non-technical audience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Shopify, Wix etc would benefit.
