Summary 

This Project Manager will lead engineering-focused projects for the Technology team, managing day-to-day vendor procurement activities and licensing controls. They will work with Technology leadership to define, monitor, and report on engineering health metrics, and serve as the primary coordinator for cross-platform engineering initiatives. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day vendor activities, including managing vendor relationships and contract management in conjunction with Procurement, Legal, and other internal teams.
  • Maintain and manage licensing controls, ensuring proper usage, renewals, and budget adherence.
  • Partner with Technology leadership to define key engineering health metrics and performance indicators.
  • Establish monitoring processes and deliver regular reporting on engineering heath and operational performance.
  • Serve as the primary coordinator for cross-platform engineering initiatives ensuring alignment across teams.
  • Support process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and transparency within engineering operations.

Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; coursework in project management, vendor management, or data analytics preferred
  • 0-3 years of experience in engineering, vendor management or project coordination with proven experience working on cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrate attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and thoroughness
  • Interest in engineering and technology processes to support and improve engineering operations

Work Environment 

  • Fully remote role
  • Standard work hours Monday through Friday

  • High-quality testing: Our laboratory is CLIA certified and CAP accredited and most of our tests are also New York State approved.

CLINICAL EXPERTISE

  • Thorough analysis: We classify variants according to our custom adaptation of the most recent guidelines. We then leverage our rich internal database for additional interpretation evidence.
  • Customized care: Our experts review all test results and write reports in a clear, concise, and personalized way. We also include information for research studies in specific clinical situations.
  • Impactful discovery: Our researchers continue working to find answers even after testing is complete. Through both internal research efforts and global collaborations, we have identified and published hundreds of new disease-gene relationships and developed novel tools for genomic data analysis.
