As a Technology Support III team member in the Enterprise Technology - Risk team, you will ensure the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production application flows. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement as you troubleshoot, maintain, identify, escalate, and resolve production service interruptions for all internally and externally developed systems, leading to a seamless user experience.
Job responsibilities
  • Provides end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery to enable successful business operations of the firm
  • Supports the day-to-day maintenance of the firm's systems to ensure operational stability and availability
  • Assist in the monitoring of production environments for anomalies and address issues utilizing standard observability tools
  • Identify issues for escalation and communication, and provide solutions to the business and technology stakeholders
  • Analyze complex situations and trends to anticipate and solve incident, problem, and change management in support of full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services
  • Adept in Hadoop to diagnose and fix application issues. Concept and working experience in private cloud (i.e., enterprise specific cloud themes).
  • Orchestration (e.g., Autosys, Airflow, Control-M, Oozie, etc.). Of those, Control-M experience mandatory.
  • Mandatory - Database exposure and intermediate level SQL skills to be able to query and manage Oracle.
  • Hands on expertise in AWS Services and Tools - esp. Athena, RDS/Aurora, Redshift.
  • Third Party Vendor Data Management and Lifecycle, and Engagement for Trouble Tickets using DevOps Process.
  • Hands on Tools Development using any programming language (Python) - Automation aptitude is key focus.
  • Must adhere to weekly support Rotation schedules including weekends (standard Devops Cadence).
  • Work collaboratively in a Global team with fellow DevOps professionals, sharing ideas to solve complex and challenging business problems.
  • Be able to communicate effectively and work closely together with business clients, other technology teams, support partners and stakeholders to deliver and support business aligned solutions.
  • MUST have demonstrated Devops Prior Experience for this role.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience with database technologies - Oracle/MySQL.
  • Experience with Languages - Java, Scala, Python, Shell Scripts
  • Associate level certification and hands-on skills using Boto3 and CLI can be a big-plus
  • Hands on experience in Java, Scala or Python with implementation experience. Python preferred.
