WHAT YOU'LL DO

This is a full-time temporary 12-week assignment.

Our Finance team loves digging into the details to drive profitability while providing excellent customer service. We are seeking a Temporary Financial Analyst to support the business through a critical period of financial planning, reforecasting, and process transformation.

This role will play a key part in setting 2026 KPIs based on budget and forecast data, supporting our major reforecast, and ensuring continuity of core FP&A work as we uplevel our financial processes and systems. You will have broad company visibility and work cross-functionally to assess investments, evaluate profitability, and support strategic decision-making—while helping the organization maintain momentum during change.

This is an opportunity to provide hands-on analytical support that directly impacts the company’s bottom line, while also contributing to the evolution of our FP&A capabilities.

Reports to: FP&A Manager

Location: Hybrid at our Preston, WA office 3+ days a week

*While we strive to offer flexibility, this role also requires it. There may be times when you're expected to come onsite outside your typical in-office days to support special projects, team events, or other business needs.

Annual Salary: $92,000-$109,500

Note: New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint, however, we may go slightly higher based on experience, internal equity and market.

  • Support the development and refinement of 2026 financial KPIs, leveraging budget and forecast data to ensure metrics are actionable, aligned, and decision-useful.
  • Play a key role in preparing the company’s major reforecast, including data consolidation, variance analysis, scenario modeling, and management-ready outputs.
  • Evaluate potential returns on investment, partnering with stakeholders on pricing assumptions, promotional strategies, and business requirements while continuously improving supporting processes.
  • Provide pricing and promotional financial support to Sales, including margin analysis, promotional discount evaluation, and ad hoc decision support.
  • Prepare and deliver financial analyses and presentations to support senior leadership decision-making.
  • Manage and enhance budget and planning templates within our FP&A tools, including Anaplan, while partnering with analytics resources to develop clear, actionable reporting and visualizations.
  • Support ongoing improvements to FP&A processes and systems, ensuring that core financial work continues smoothly during transformation.
  • Monitor key financial performance indicators, identify trends, analyze drivers of variance, and surface insights that drive business action.
  • Complete ad hoc analytical projects as needed to support evolving business priorities.
  • Ensure food safety, quality, and SQF practices are followed at all times, escalating any concerns to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

We create connections with every sip. And we’ve found a lot of value in in-person connections! As a young, fast-growing company, we’re still creating and refining the systems that will fuel our future growth. Onsite presence is beyond collaboration, and here is why onsite presence matters:

  • Accelerates process building - Being onsite lets teams test, adjust, and lock in new processes in real time, partnering closely with Finance, Commercial Operations and Marketing to ensure they are efficient and scalable.
  • Speeds decision-making – Having the right people in the same room means questions get answered and roadblocks get cleared instantly, which is critical when building for scale and aligning priorities across the Finance, Commercial Operations and Marketing departments.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional analytical experience (including internships).
  • Experience working with ERP systems and financial planning tools (Anaplan experience preferred, not required).
  • Strong Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables; comfort working with large datasets.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment while collaborating effectively across functions.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to connect analysis to business impact.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
