WHAT YOU'LL DO
This is a full-time temporary 12-week assignment.
Our Finance team loves digging into the details to drive profitability while providing excellent customer service. We are seeking a Temporary Financial Analyst to support the business through a critical period of financial planning, reforecasting, and process transformation.
This role will play a key part in setting 2026 KPIs based on budget and forecast data, supporting our major reforecast, and ensuring continuity of core FP&A work as we uplevel our financial processes and systems. You will have broad company visibility and work cross-functionally to assess investments, evaluate profitability, and support strategic decision-making—while helping the organization maintain momentum during change.
This is an opportunity to provide hands-on analytical support that directly impacts the company’s bottom line, while also contributing to the evolution of our FP&A capabilities.
Reports to: FP&A Manager
Location: Hybrid at our Preston, WA office 3+ days a week
*While we strive to offer flexibility, this role also requires it. There may be times when you're expected to come onsite outside your typical in-office days to support special projects, team events, or other business needs.
Annual Salary: $92,000-$109,500
Note: New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint, however, we may go slightly higher based on experience, internal equity and market.
- Support the development and refinement of 2026 financial KPIs, leveraging budget and forecast data to ensure metrics are actionable, aligned, and decision-useful.
- Play a key role in preparing the company’s major reforecast, including data consolidation, variance analysis, scenario modeling, and management-ready outputs.
- Evaluate potential returns on investment, partnering with stakeholders on pricing assumptions, promotional strategies, and business requirements while continuously improving supporting processes.
- Provide pricing and promotional financial support to Sales, including margin analysis, promotional discount evaluation, and ad hoc decision support.
- Prepare and deliver financial analyses and presentations to support senior leadership decision-making.
- Manage and enhance budget and planning templates within our FP&A tools, including Anaplan, while partnering with analytics resources to develop clear, actionable reporting and visualizations.
- Support ongoing improvements to FP&A processes and systems, ensuring that core financial work continues smoothly during transformation.
- Monitor key financial performance indicators, identify trends, analyze drivers of variance, and surface insights that drive business action.
- Complete ad hoc analytical projects as needed to support evolving business priorities.
- Ensure food safety, quality, and SQF practices are followed at all times, escalating any concerns to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional analytical experience (including internships).
- Experience working with ERP systems and financial planning tools (Anaplan experience preferred, not required).
- Strong Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables; comfort working with large datasets.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment while collaborating effectively across functions.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to connect analysis to business impact.

Three Weeks of Vacation per calendar year. And that’s just to start! Spend some time with us, and you’ll accrue an additional week every few years, depending on your exempt status!
FMLA qualifying Rain Makers receive six weeks of paid parental leave. Parents get to spend time at home bonding with their new addition (whether it arrives by birth, fostering, or adoption). For birth mothers, additional time is provided for medical leave. Depending on the state in which you reside, additional time may also be available for parents who do not require medical leave.
Flexibility Stipend. For eligible Rain Makers, spend this extra monthly stipend as you wish, but know it’s intended to contribute to things like your phone, internet or other business uses while working remotely or needs outside of normal working hours.
Relocation: Relocation Available (when available)
Onsite and Hybrid Rain Makers: Get paid to carpool! Drive to work with another Rain Maker every week at least 2X a week and receive mileage reimbursement.

Please note, eligibility for our full benefits package is based on an average of 30+ hours per week in regular (not temporary) positions.
