We are currently seeking a person who identifies strongly with our mission and core values to join our team as a Temporary Human Resources Generalist.  The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 5 years human resources experience to include employee relations, a strong understanding of employment law as well as experience implementing compensation and benefits programs.

***Please Note: This is a temporary role that will end when the needs of the company change. 


Purpose:

The human resource professional, will have responsibility for multiple human resource activities. Duties include supporting the organization in several areas of human resources, which may include coordinating employment activities, receiving, and acting on employee complaints or grievances, administering employee records, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, recommending, and coordinating employee training activities and administering compensation, benefits, performance, and other programs


Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

• Supports the organization in several areas of human resources
• Serves as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems
• Interprets and explains human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations
Prepares or maintains employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software
Addresses employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns
• Assist with performance review management
• Assist with front office duties
• Assists with benefits administration
• Assists with employee recognition activities
• Ability to work schedule as assigned
 

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of HR experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related
Experience with HRIS or HCM (Paycom preferred)
• Fluent in all Microsoft products inc. Teams (and Zoom)
• Strong  customer service and communication skills
• Certified in SHRM, SPH or PH preferred
• Experience working with people with disabilities preferred
