Elicit and analyze requirements, create logical/physical database designs, optimize and tune Teradata, use BTEQ and Teradata utilities, write stored procedures and Unix shell scripts, coordinate SMEs/stakeholders, estimate work, support on-site/offshore delivery, and travel frequently for client-facing consulting engagements.

- Strong Requirement Elicitation & Analysis skills
- Should have the capability to understand requirements and convert to design and provide pass the same seamlessly to the team who is working on the same.
- Ability to coordinate with SMEs, stakeholders, manage timelines, escalation & provide on time status.
- Good knowledge in DWH concepts and Logical/physical database design
- Extensive knowledge of Teradata database, data warehousing and information management best practices.
- Excellent understanding of Teradata architecture. Knowledge of Teradata CLDM will be an added advantage
- Hands on experience in performing optimization/tuning activities in Teradata
- Hands on experience in Stored Procedures, Bteq, Teradata utilities for load and export data
- Should come up with the work estimation and should provide inputs to managers on resource and risk planning.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience on Unix shell scripting
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written communication, oral communication and listening skills
- Should have played client facing roles
- Must have worked in on-site/offshore model
- Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel
- The job entails an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
- Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 7 years of experience within the Information Technologies.
