Territory Manager position will be expected to work with the Authorized Dealer locations and individual Farmers/Growers/end users of Väderstad owned Concord, Wil-Rich, Wishek, Seed Hawk, and Väderstad brands. TM will be expected to evaluate Dealer and Customer requirements and be the business driver to expand respective areas.

TM will be responsible for working with Väderstad and Authorized Dealers to develop a business plan that focuses on expanding Väderstad market share and sales volume.

TM will be expected to participate in new equipment training to develop a sales and performance perspective and technical expertise, and also, to acquire a full understanding of how our equipment functions when in use. The TM will be involved in field demonstrations, particularly in new and expanding markets.

The TM will collaborate with the localized field team and assist in organizing field activities in conjunction with other colleagues.

This is a remote position and will manage the territory of Ohio, Indiana, & Michigan.

Accountabilities

· Timely reaction to dealer or customer concerns

· Build a business plan with DOS for future activity with sales estimates.

· Manage the internal equipment information in proscribed formats

· Interact with customers, departments, and personnel regarding sales, equipment performance, expectations and deal with issues by taking ownership of the problem

· Responsible for contributing to the morale, team spirit and promoting exceptional staff and customer relations.

· Coordinates sales issues and updates internal systems and all affected internal and external customers to facilitate superior and continuing customer sales and service.

· Analyzes the responsible market potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers value to the organization

· Assist dealers in establishing key customer relationships with targeted contact management and on-site customer visits.

· Provide timely thoughtful feedback to internal departments on customer/dealer concerns and issues

· Provide regular monthly feedback on market movements including competitive activities, programs, lost sales, conquest sales, threats and opportunities.

· Manage assigned region to achieve or exceed the revenue and profit goals

· Complete and manage to an annual development plan.

Education

· Agriculture related degree/Agricultural experience

Requirements

· Agricultural or Farming experience

· Strong knowledge of dealer sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.

· Knowledge of building best practices.

· Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers.

· Some knowledge of fiscal management and budgets.

· Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.

· Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills to meet deadlines.

· Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

· Ability to coordinate and organize meetings, exhibits, and other events.

Work Conditions

· Field/office/home office

· High degree of domestic and international travel

· Ability to attend and conduct presentations.

· Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.

· Overtime as required.
