Pay: Starting at $19.00/hr  + Weekly Performance Bonus (Details below.)

Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday

About the Position

HP and 2020 Companies have partnered to hire a HP Territory Retail Sales Representative in your area! In this role, you will be responsible for visiting 1 - 4 stores per day based on need. Our Sales Representative will effectively drive and increase sales by training retail associates on HP products as well as creating buzz and excitement around the HP brand. As a HP Representative, you will be responsible for increasing brand awareness and the retail presence through store displays, product placement, and building rapport within your territory to put HP front and center within the retail environment.

Day-in-the-Life

  • Demonstrate HP products to store management, staff & customers at retailers in assigned territory
  • Increase sales and product awareness through training and hands-on consumer facing activities
  • Achieve and maintain program KPIs on a monthly/quarterly basis
  • Build rapport within territory at each retailer with store management and staff
  • Schedule and facilitate sales and product trainings
  • Assess and communicate needs such as marketing material and promotional collateral, etc.
  • Assess customer needs and make product recommendations that are applicable to their everyday life
  • Document and report sales, schedules, activities and best practices
  • Collect customer feedback and provide insight and recommendations
  • Set and maintain brand merchandising in retail locations and ensure all brand standards are followed
  • Coach and mentor part-time co-workers
  • Manage a territory of stores independently with minimal oversight

How is Success Measured in This Role?

  • Meet established metrics

Job Description:

  • Drive brand market share through daily direct and indirect sales activities engaging directly with customers and retail channel partners
  • Develop partnership with retail store management to foster sales driving activities with associates
  • Schedule and facilitate sales and product training with front line store associates and managers
  • Drive sales productivity through high quality sales interactions with customers
  • Build and maintain industry vertical affiliate distribution relationships
  • Effectively assess and communicate on-site needs such as marketing material and promotional collateral, etc.
  • Educate customers while making product recommendations
  • Meet or exceed personal sales productivity goals and key metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Accurately document and report sales, schedules, activities and best practices
  • Collect customer feedback and provide sales/marketing channel insight and recommendations
  • Set and maintain brand merchandising in retail locations and ensure all brand standards are followed

Performance Measurements:

  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales goals
  • Meet or exceed weekly in store time goals
  • Visit multiple store locations on a daily and weekly basis
  • Effectively schedule store visits two weeks or more in advance
  • Effectively execute sales activities inside each location during all visits
  • Effectively demonstrate an on-going ability to establish, maintain and influence business relationships through increased shelf space, product placement and consistent productivity
  • Record and maintain appropriate documentation for each visit

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 6+ months previous retail selling experience in consumer electronics or other technical/wireless products preferred
  • 6+ months of successful training experience, preferably within direct marketing/telecommunications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stage a consultative selling process that overcomes objections and connects with customer needs
  • Strong analytical skills and customer service orientation
  • Strong multi-tasking skills, time management and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform independently in an unstructured work environment
  • Must have and maintain reliable transportation and state-required minimum liability automobile insurance coverage
