Responsibilities:

  • Work out of home office, with routine visits to Vileda Professional US HQ office in Aurora, Illinois. Home office preferred in Chicagoland or within Illinois/NW Indiana/SE Wisconsin.

  • Business Development Manager responsibilities such as: develop the commercialization strategy for the launch of a new training services offering in the US; represent the US/CE business within the global training services working group; work closely with the US CE territory managers to identify new business opportunities and execute strategies to drive adoption and growth of the new training services model.

  • Develop a strategic territory plan and execute it within areas of responsibility.

  • Become the key contact for strategic end-users and strategic distributor representatives. Manage distributor relationships at levels including sales representatives and regional management.

  • Support existing strategic customers and expand market share and business within respective geography.

  • Call directly on new and existing end users operating within Controlled Environments. Develop relationships with key users and influencers within these accounts.

  • Understand customer’s method of contamination control and proactively sell Vileda Professional systems to solve application specific opportunities.

  • Explore development of new products specific to higher volume opportunities.

  • Track sales opportunities through CRM.

  • Utilize an insight led selling approach (Challenger Sale).

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Home office preferred in Chicagoland or within Illinois/NW Indiana/SE Wisconsin. Travel within the assigned territory as needed (estimated 30-50%).

  • B.S. is preferred (Marketing, Economics, Sales, Business Administration, Engineering or Microbiology).

  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in controlled environments, scientific or lab markets. Experience in business development and new product commercialization, preferably in training, education, or professional services. Proven success in business development within laboratory, production, and cleanroom supply markets.

  • Experience working with cleanroom supply distributors. Distribution management required.

  • Basic knowledge of cGMP standards and cleanroom environments. Preferred familiarity with mechanical cleaning tools and microfiber technology.

  • Experience in launching or scaling a new product or service in a competitive market. Understanding of pricing strategies, packaging training services, and optimizing go-to-market strategies.

  • Proficient in CRM systems for tracking and management. Familiarity with LMS (Learning Management Systems) and digital marketing platforms. High level understanding of Microsoft Office (Primarily: Excel, Word and Power Point).

  • Skilled in documenting sales processes and maintaining an active sales funnel.

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with cross-functional teams. Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English is a requirement.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to turn challenges into opportunities. Proactive self-starter with a track record of taking initiative.

  • Adaptable and open to change, with creative problem-solving and "out-of-the-box" thinking.
