Senior Manager – Managed Services Transitions

CFGI’s Managed Services practice delivers transformative finance and accounting solutions by fully managing operations below the CFO level. We partner with clients to optimize their finance functions, streamline processes, enhance reporting, and enable faster, data-driven decision-making across core finance areas including accounting operations, financial close, and reporting.
We are seeking a results-driven Senior Manager to lead day-to-day execution of client transitions within our Managed Services practice. This role will focus on driving delivery, managing workstreams, and ensuring consistent application of transition frameworks.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day execution of transition engagements, including planning, kickoff, execution, and issue resolution
- Manage transition workstreams, ensuring alignment to timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Develop and maintain detailed transition plans, status reports, and risk logs
- Ensure consistent execution of standardized transition processes, including kickoff meetings, status reporting, and milestone tracking
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support seamless transition into steady-state delivery
- Identify and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies across engagements
- Support development of dashboards and reporting to track transition progress and performance
- Mentor and guide Managers and Consultants, ensuring high-quality execution and development
- Contribute to continuous improvement of transition methodologies, tools, and templates
Qualifications and Capabilities:
- 8+ years of experience in finance transformation, project management, or consulting
- Strong understanding of finance operations and process improvement
- Experience managing project workstreams and driving execution
- Familiarity with project tracking tools, reporting, and dashboards
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
