The Travel Intelligence Specialist - Abroad plays a crucial role within Marchay’s global travel team. This remote position requires living abroad to provide authentic, on-the-ground insights and specialized knowledge of international luxury destinations.
In this role, you will conduct thorough research and analysis of emerging luxury destinations, exclusive properties, and unique experiences. Your expertise will be essential to crafting personalized travel itineraries that delight and exceed the expectations of Marchay's discerning members.
Working independently and collaboratively, you will manage the entire client travel journey from consultation through post-trip service, ensuring flawless execution and exceptional member satisfaction. RequirementsRequired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in high-end client servicing, including serving affluent or ultra-high-net-worth travelers to white-glove service standards.
- Demonstrated experience designing bespoke FIT itineraries and owning end-to-end luxury travel journeys from planning through post-trip service.
- Strong background in destination research for international travel, with knowledge of emerging international destinations, luxury hotels, and villas.
- Experience managing complex international travel bookings and advising discerning members directly.
- Proven ability to negotiate with luxury hotels or villas and coordinate closely with private homeowners and local partners.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Experience with GDS platforms and supplier booking portals.
- Familiarity with itinerary-building tools and CRM systems.
