We are looking for a UI Engineer to join us as we build cutting-edge technology solutions!  This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to delivering best in class service to our customers.

In this role you will have the exciting opportunity to create real-time, interactive UI for one of the most successful gaming franchises in the industry. Your role will involve collaborating with a team of UI artists, designers, and developers to implement dynamic layouts and animations, as well as optimizing UI performance to balance both visuals and efficiency. You will also contribute to improving workflows and authoring pipelines, making a direct impact on the UI’s functionality and user experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement complex UI screens for interactive game features, including data-driven dynamic layouts, animations, and transitions.
  • Assist with troubleshooting UI artist issues with tooling and content authoring pipelines.
  • Contribute to a visual library of XAML components for use in UI screens.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of technical UI artists, designers, and developers to deliver in-game UI screens.
  • Recommend improvements to develop dependable UI content workflows, gaining deep knowledge of UI content data flow, tooling, and rendering techniques.
  • Benchmark, debug, and optimize UI, balancing visuals and performance.

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree in Graphic Design, User Interface, Art, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience with XAML and Microsoft Blend.
  • Portfolio showcasing problem-solving and UI intuition across a variety of projects.
  • Experience shipping content with limited performance budgets.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with C++ is beneficial but not required.
  • Interest in accessibility and multi-platform scalable UI.

Salary Range

Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $90,000 to $105,000 USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
