What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
  • Lead Operation leaders and manage people, technology, and financial resources within the Manufacturing Upstream Team of Building 118 department, ensuring alignment with short-term goals and site objectives.
  • Actively share knowledge and collaborate within the department to identify and implement process or product improvements, taking calculated risks to innovate.
  • Solve moderately complex problems within your expertise and assist with issues outside the department, providing technical guidance and oversight to team members.
  • Oversee operational activities, ensuring efficient, effective, safe, and compliant introduction of new products within project timelines and existing organizational frameworks.
  • Manage the performance of direct reports through goal setting, coaching, ongoing assessment, and development plans, recognizing and fostering growth in others.
  • Communicate effectively by soliciting input, explaining complex concepts, persuading others, and sharing your own point of view and rationale.
  • Lead projects by meeting objectives, preparing resource forecasts, managing multiple projects, and controlling timelines and budgets, typically involving cross-functional representatives.
  • Ensure good communication between management, production staff, and other departments, driving accountability to meet safety, quality, service, and cost deliverables.
  • Monitor and manage subordinate colleagues' efforts to achieve short-term and mid-term goals, periodically reviewing manufacturing and packaging batch records for compliance.
  • Develop and implement training programs, seek best practices, liaise with support groups for system issue resolution, and partner with Environment, Health & Safety to ensure a zero-injury workplace, driving continuous improvement and audit readiness.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
  • BA/BS with at least 4 years of experience or MBA/MS with at least 2 years of experience or PhD/JD with any years of experience or associate's degree with at least 8 years of experience or high School Diploma (or Equivalent) with at least 10 years of relevant experience
  • Proven track record in Audit Support and preparation within the biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in aseptic manufacturing
  • Solid understanding of Quality Tracking Systems, particularly in Change Management
  • Familiarity with production operations and process performance
  • Strong people management and supervisory skills
  • Demonstrated team leadership
  • Effective communication abilities

  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop and implement training programs
  • Experience in liaising with core support groups
  • Capability to drive Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Lifting 50 lbs. Ability to gown into manufacturing area. Long hours of desk work expected.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $112,700.00 to $187,800.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 15.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
