About the Team
Our team is focused on enhancing the recognition capabilities for users, products, and short videos, enabling personalized product recommendations and an excellent shopping experience.
Responsibilities:
- Build a user profiling system to accurately capture shopping interests by analyzing behavioral patterns and preferences.
- Utilize NLP, Computer Vision (CV), and multimodal technologies to improve understanding of short video content and products, enhancing search and recommendation systems.
- Explore large-scale, high-quality pretraining datasets to develop industry-specific models for e-commerce using the Byte Universal Model.
- Innovate new interactive shopping scenarios in e-commerce.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Deep expertise in NLP, CV, and multimodal fields, including machine translation, few-shot learning, and image/video understanding.
- Proficiency in training and deploying models using PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks.
- Strong practical skills, with a preference for project experience in video content understanding or multimodal retrieval. Awards from competitions like Kaggle or COCO will be prioritized.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Published papers in top-tier academic conferences/journals.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a large-scale internet business.
