Job Summary 

As a User Experience Designer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to create engaging and user-friendly interfaces for various applications, primarily serving our government clients. As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate Scrum processes, ensuring teams collaborate effectively to deliver high-quality products that meet user needs and project requirements. Through mentorship and guidance, you will empower teams to adopt Agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices. 

Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements. Additionally, all team members may be called upon to support proposal efforts as needed. This could include resume formatting, providing skills alignment summaries, participating in meetings, or contributing to solutioning activities based on subject matter expertise or functional experience. 

Responsibilities 

  • Provide expertise in Agile based product development
  • Develop and manage project plan
  • Lead and manage Agile team and all Agile (Scrum/Kanban) ceremonies
  • Promote UX design best practices
  • Utilize knowledge of accessibility and section 508
  • User Research
  • Wireframing
  • Prototyping
  • Identifying and solving design problems
  • Work with end users and communicate user experience to stakeholders

Requirements
  • Expert in Agile based product development
  • Ability to work with end users and communicate user experience to stakeholders
  • Experience with UX design best practices
  • Experience with leading Agile (Scrum/Kanban) ceremonies
  • Experience with accessibility and section 508
  • Expertise in UX software such as: Figma (required), Adobe Creative Suite, Axure, and Sketch
  • Experience in applying and modifying design systems for enterprises with large applications
  • Experience in user experience design for large online applications
  • Experience in user experience design for Mobile applications on iOS, Android and FireOS platforms

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This is a remote/work-from-home position. The employee is expected to maintain a professional and distraction-free home office environment with reliable internet access and the ability to participate in video and audio calls during standard working hours. Standard office equipment such as a computer, phone, and webcam will be used regularly. 

Travel Requirement 

This is a remote position; however, occasional travel may be required based on project needs, client meetings, team collaboration events, or training sessions. Travel is expected to be less than 10% and will be communicated in advance whenever possible.
