- Develop and lead DAS Health’s overall cybersecurity strategy aligned with business goals and risk management priorities
- Oversee cybersecurity operations across internal infrastructure and client environments, including monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and client stakeholders, including participation in strategic reviews and QBRs
- Establish and maintain cybersecurity governance programs, policies, standards, and compliance oversight
- Ensure compliance with applicable frameworks and regulations such as HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI-DSS, NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS
- Lead and oversee incident response efforts, investigations, remediation, and post-incident reviews
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing cybersecurity teams, including managers, engineers, and analysts
- Define, track, and report cybersecurity KPIs, operational metrics, and risk posture to executive leadership
- Oversee vendor risk management and third-party security compliance
- Manage cybersecurity-related programs including IAM, cloud security, vulnerability management, penetration testing, business continuity, and disaster recovery
- Drive continuous improvement, scalability, and maturity of cybersecurity services and internal security capabilities
- Oversee cybersecurity cost-side P&L responsibilities, including vendor costs, staffing forecasts, and operational budgeting
- Stay current on emerging threats, cloud security advancements, and topics such as AI security and governance
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of IT and cybersecurity experience, including 5+ years in senior cybersecurity leadership roles
- Proven experience leading cybersecurity operations teams in complex environments
- Strong expertise across cybersecurity domains including SOC/SIEM, incident response, vulnerability management, IAM, cloud security, endpoint security, and GRC
- Experience designing and implementing governance programs, security standards, and compliance frameworks
- Prior experience in an MSP, MSSP, healthcare, financial services, or other highly regulated environment strongly preferred
- Strong client-facing experience with the ability to communicate effectively with C-suite and executive stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously and lead large-scale, strategic cybersecurity initiatives
- Experience with AI governance and cybersecurity implications of AI technologies preferred
- CISSP, CISM, or similar industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications
- Executive-level impact and visibility
