Job Overview:

TopDog Law is seeking a Vice President of Information Technology (IT) to lead the firm’s technology operations, systems integration, and data infrastructure as we disrupt the legal industry and continue on our growth trajectory. This role blends hands-on technical execution with strategic oversight - ideal for a leader who can build, optimize, and scale technology systems that power business performance.

The Vice President of IT will oversee core technology functions, including business applications, call center systems, data infrastructure, cybersecurity, and website development. The right candidate will have experience managing multi-system environments, implementing automation, and aligning IT initiatives with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

Technology Operations & Infrastructure

  • Manage the firm’s technology stack, including case management, CRM, cloud systems, and call center platforms.
  • Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring uptime, performance, and security across all systems.
  • Support technology integrations of company acquisitions, standardizing systems and data processes.
  • Implement scalable infrastructure and automation to support firm-wide growth.

Systems Development & Optimization

  • Maintain and enhance business applications, including Salesforce, to streamline case workflows and operational visibility.
  • Partner with business units to design, configure, and optimize technology solutions that improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Drive improvements in website functionality, funnel optimization, and client engagement technology.

Data & Analytics

  • Support the development of a centralized data warehouse to enable reporting, analytics, and KPI tracking.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility across departments.
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to deliver actionable business insights.

Security & Compliance

  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures, including identity management, monitoring, and encryption protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, legal, and state bar requirements.
  • Manage IT policies, audits, and risk assessments.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and develop IT team members across infrastructure, support, and systems administration.
  • Partner with Operations, Finance, and Client Services to ensure seamless technology delivery.
  • Foster a proactive, solution-oriented IT culture that supports business agility and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of progressive IT experience, including 3+ years in IT leadership or management roles.
  • Proven experience managing business applications (Salesforce preferred), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and call center technology.
  • Strong understanding of networking, cybersecurity, and data management best practices.
  • Demonstrated success implementing system integrations and automation tools.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to translate technical issues into clear business impact.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in legal services, healthcare, or other compliance-heavy industries.
  • Familiarity with AI automation, data engineering tools (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, dbt, Fivetran), and workflow automation.
  • Hands-on experience supporting web development and digital engagement platforms.
