Schrödinger seeks a Vice President of Marketing to join us in our mission to improve human health and quality of life through the development, distribution, and application of advanced computational methods.
As a leader on our Marketing team, reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), you’ll architect our global marketing strategy and be responsible for building a full-funnel engagement engine that converts scientific interest into measurable commercial growth. In this role, you will elevate Schrödinger’s corporate brand equity and category leadership, while scaling a predictable lead-to-revenue machine that supports our mission to revolutionize drug discovery.

- A data strategist and AI innovator who leverages attribution insights, GTM optimization, and real-time intent signals to build a predictable revenue engine
- An excellent team player who thrives in cross-functional environments (this hire will connect Product R&D, Global Portfolio Leaders, and Sales teams)
What you’ll do:
- Partner with the CCO and Global Portfolio Leaders to define go-to-market strategies for our Life Sciences and our Materials Science suites, ensuring product positioning translates directly into the commercial pipeline
- Own the global lead generation quota; develop and execute data-driven marketing strategies to aggressively grow marketing-qualified and sales-accepted leads
- Map and optimize the buyers’ journey, from winning attention through developing initial awareness and affecting advocacy, utilizing HubSpot, HighSpot, Salesforce and other technologies to track attribution and ROI
- Direct the creation of high-impact technical content (white papers, case studies, webinars) designed to capture interest, build intent, and move pharma/biotech decision-makers through to the Sales funnel
- Identify emerging trends and competitive shifts in the market, ensuring Schrödinger’s value propositions remain the gold standard in computational chemistry
What you should have:

- A track record of building and executing successful comprehensive marketing strategies
- Extensive experience managing marketing performance and budgets, and hitting MQL/Pipeline targets
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant scientific discipline (Chemistry, Biology, or related field); an MBA is a plus
- Proven experience architecting modern marketing technology stacks to drive account based marketing programs, enterprise-level attribution, and real-time commercial insights
- Robust experience in driving digital marketing initiatives
- Familiarity with the drug discovery life cycle and informatics platforms
- Background in computational modeling or drug/materials discovery informatics is a plus
