Role Summary:
The Vice President of Product Management will own the end-to-end product strategy and execution for Cyderes’ MDR platform and services portfolio. This executive leader will define the long-term product vision, drive platform differentiation, and ensure Cyderes delivers best-in-class MDR capabilities that scale with customers and the business.
This role sits at the intersection of cybersecurity, SaaS platforms, and managed services. You will work closely with Engineering, SOC leadership, Threat Research, Alliances, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to align product strategy with revenue growth, customer outcomes, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Define and own Cyderes’ product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap across MDR, platform capabilities, and customer experience.
- Identify market opportunities, competitive differentiation, and emerging trends in MDR, XDR, SIEM, automation, AI/ML, identity, cloud, and threat intelligence.
- Ensure product strategy aligns with Cyderes’ growth goals, go-to-market strategy, and services model.
- Oversee the full product portfolio, balancing innovation, scalability, reliability, and speed to market.
- Drive the evolution of Cyderes’ MDR platform to support automation, integrations, and operational efficiency at scale.
- Partner with Alliances and Technology teams to deepen integrations with key partners (e.g., Microsoft Security, CrowdStrike, Google Security, Palo Alto, Splunk, CyberArk, SailPoint, and others).
- Lead cross-functional execution with Engineering, SOC, and Data teams to deliver high-impact products and features.
- Establish clear product management processes, prioritization frameworks, and success metrics.
- Ensure product decisions are informed by customer insights, operational realities, and data.
- Serve as the executive voice of the customer, engaging directly with key customers and prospects.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing on product positioning, pricing, packaging, and launches.
- Support enterprise sales cycles, customer briefings, and strategic roadmap discussions.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of Product Directors and Product Managers.
- Foster a strong product culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and outcomes.
- Scale product capabilities and talent as Cyderes continues to grow.
- Define and track KPIs across product adoption, customer satisfaction, retention, ARR impact, and operational efficiency.
- Use data and feedback loops to continuously refine product strategy and execution.
- Communicate product performance, roadmap progress, and strategic tradeoffs to executive leadership and the Board.
Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience in Product Management, with significant leadership experience at the Director or VP level.
- Deep experience in cybersecurity, MDR/MSSP, XDR, SIEM, or SaaS security platforms.
- Proven track record of defining and scaling complex platforms in a high-growth environment.
- Strong understanding of managed services business models and enterprise B2B customers.
- Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
- Hands-on experience with SOC operations, threat detection and response workflows, or security analytics.
- Experience building products that integrate across large security ecosystems.
- Prior experience working closely with GTM teams in enterprise sales environments.
