Clarivate is seeking a dynamic Vice President, Marketing to lead global Go-to-Market strategy for our Intellectual Property segment—one of the world’s most trusted portfolios supporting innovation, research, and IP decision-making. In this highly visible executive leadership role, you will shape how our IP solutions are positioned in the market, bring compelling portfolio narratives to life, and partner across Product, Sales, Strategy, Engineering, Brand, Communications, Events, and Demand Marketing to accelerate customer engagement and commercial growth. About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in global B2B marketing, including senior leadership roles with responsibility for portfolio marketing and Go-to-Market strategy.
  • Proven track record leading multi-product or enterprise-level GTM initiatives within information services, technology, SaaS, or data-driven businesses.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales models, complex B2B buying journeys, and revenue-driven marketing metrics.

  • Advanced degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience marketing Intellectual Property, legal technology, research, analytics, or workflow solutions.
  • Experience leading global, matrixed marketing teams across regions and functions.
  • Experience developing executive-level messaging, portfolio narratives, and competitive positioning for complex B2B solutions.

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Define and lead the end-to-end Go-to-Market strategy for Clarivate’s global Intellectual Property portfolio, aligning business objectives, market opportunities, and customer needs into a cohesive marketing direction.
  • Develop and champion portfolio-level positioning, value propositions, and messaging frameworks that clearly articulate customer value and market differentiation.
  • Partner with IP Business Unit and Product leaders to support new product launches, enhancements, and portfolio evolution, ensuring disciplined execution and strong market adoption.
  • Enable commercial success through sales enablement strategy, including portfolio storytelling, product playbooks, competitive insights, and messaging that supports sales effectiveness.
  • Drive marketing programs that contribute to pipeline generation, revenue growth, customer expansion, and retention, in close collaboration with Sales and Demand Marketing teams.
  • Leverage customer, market, and competitive insights to inform persona-based GTM strategies and optimize engagement across the buyer journey.
  • Establish and monitor clear performance metrics, translating data and insights into actionable recommendations for executive and commercial stakeholders.
  • Build, inspire, and lead a high-performing, global marketing leadership team, influencing both direct and matrixed teams across regions and functions.
  • Collaborate with Clarivate Brand, Communications, and Events teams to elevate brand presence, thought leadership, and industry engagement for the IP portfolio.
  • Serve as a trusted executive partner and marketing leader, contributing to enterprise-level strategy, prioritization, and decision-making.

About the Team

The Intellectual Property marketing team partners across Product, Sales, Strategy, Engineering, Brand, Communications, Events, and Demand Marketing to bring Clarivate’s IP portfolio to market. The team focuses on translating business and portfolio strategy into compelling market narratives, differentiated messaging, integrated GTM programs, and commercial enablement that support customer engagement and business growth.

Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed.
