Vice President of Revenue Operations (ROPS)

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Revenue Operations (ROPS) to drive operational strategy, execution, and innovation within DaVita's revenue cycle. This executive will help shape our long-term organizational vision and own execution, including creating and leading transformational initiatives, executing on our technology strategy, maximizing financial performance, and creating and fostering a special place for teammates.

Location: Denver, CO preferred, Malvern, Philadelphia, PA secondary preference, open to remote

What will you do?

Enterprise Operational Leadership:

  • Direct and oversee strategies that optimize and grow yield and revenue

  • Spearhead initiatives that leverage technology and data to maximize growth and improve efficiency

  • Lead continuous process improvement efforts to enhance revenue cycle design and process

  • Establish and manage to key performance metrics, ensuring alignment with organizational goals

  • Ensure operational efficiency in revenue management through a combination of leading best practices, developing team members, and innovation

Strategic Vision & Problem-Solving:

  • Develop and carry out a multi-year vision and strategy to drive continued growth and innovation

  • Align revenue operations with evolving healthcare industry trends and regulatory changes

  • Oversee complex problem-solving efforts, leveraging data-driven insights to inform decision-making

  • Serve as a thought leader, identifying opportunities for innovation and operational transformation

  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure revenue operations is positioned as a strategic business enabler and thought partner

Leadership / Creating a Special Place:

  • Manage and lead a high-performing team, driving engagement, enablement, talent development, and succession planning

  • Manage a geographically dispersed team, including 4-6 direct reports and 200-300 indirect teammates

  • Lead through influence, providing strategic guidance and effecting change in the interest of bettering the overall organization

  • Coach, motivate and develop teammates through formal and informal feedback and development opportunities in alignment with DaVita's Mission and Core Values

  • Relentlessly foster a special place to work and grow a career for all teammates

Executive Communication & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Partner with senior executives to define organizational priorities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing insights and recommendations

  • Develop and deliver presentations on revenue operations performance, trends, strategic initiatives, and recommendations to enhance performance

  • Translate complex operational and financial data into actionable insights for key stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred (MBA, MHA, or related field)

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in an operational and/or strategic leadership role, preferably with deep healthcare revenue cycle experience

  • Proven track record of leading and motivating large teams in a complex operational environment

  • Experience implementing complex systems and technology solutions that span across multiple departments and geographies, and bridging technological fluency with business needs

  • Strong ability to communicate and influence vertically and horizontally in the organization, including at the executive level

  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Strong understanding of financial metrics and the ability to manage to budget across a large team  

  • Experience navigating regulatory and compliance frameworks in healthcare revenue cycle a plus

Salary/ Wage Range

$200,000.00 - $300,000.00 / year
