At Continuous Composites Inc., we are redefining what is possible in advanced manufacturing. Our patented CF3D® technology — the world’s first continuous fiber 3D printing platform — enables real-time deposition and curing of continuous fiber composites, unlocking geometries and performance that traditional methods cannot achieve. We work with the most demanding customers in Aerospace and Defense, from hypersonic vehicles to primary aircraft structures, and we are scaling from development into production.
We are looking for a Vice President of Sales to lead our commercial organization and drive revenue growth across machine sales, parts production, and government-funded development programs. This is a player-coach role: you will carry your own accounts, close business, and build a team that is both commercially aggressive and technically credible. You will own the full revenue picture and be the face of Continuous Composites in the market.
Location: Remote — Preferred locations in major A&D hubs (Southern California, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, Charlotte, Northeast)
What You’ll Do
- Lead the Commercial Organization Own the sales strategy and revenue targets across all three business streams: CF3D® machine sales, printed parts, and government development contracts. Manage and develop a team of highly skilled professionals.
- Sell Directly Carry a personal book of business. Develop and close opportunities with aerospace primes, defense integrators, and government programs. Engage at the executive and program-manager level with customers across the DoD.
- Build and Expand Relationships Continue the momentum built with existing accounts and expand Continuous Composites’ presence into new programs, platforms, and customer organizations. Grow the pipeline by identifying where CF3D® solves real performance, weight, and lead-time problems.
- Be Technically Credible Earn trust with engineers, program managers, and procurement teams by understanding the technology deeply enough to shape what gets proposed and sold. You are not an order-taker — you add value in every customer interaction by connecting CF3D® capabilities to the customer’s actual technical challenges.
- Drive Process and Forecasting Build a disciplined pipeline and forecasting rhythm. Ensure accurate CRM hygiene, deal-stage management, and revenue visibility for leadership. Implement a quoting and approval process that balances speed with margin discipline.
- Foster a Winning Culture Create an environment where the team is good at closing business and technically knowledgeable enough to ensure we are always adding value. Develop your people, hold them accountable to outcomes, and lead by example.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field (required)
- 10+ years of progressive sales experience in Aerospace and Defense, with a demonstrated track record of closing complex, technical, six- and seven-figure deals
- Proven experience selling capital equipment into technical and manufacturing environments
- Experience managing and developing a sales team — you know how to coach, not just manage
- Ability to bridge engineering and business conversations — translating complex technical solutions into compelling value propositions for customers
- Strong existing relationships across A&D primes, defense integrators, or DoD program offices
- Comfortable traveling 40–60% to customer sites, trade shows, and the Coeur d’Alene, Idaho headquarters
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with government contracting, including FAR/DFARS, contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M), and the defense procurement lifecycle
- Background in advanced manufacturing, composites, additive manufacturing, or adjacent technologies
- MBA or advanced degree
- Experience selling into aerospace and defense markets such as; hypersonics, re-entry systems, UAV, or satellite programs
- Familiarity with ITAR-controlled environments and classified programs
Why Join Us
- Category-Defining Technology. CF3D® is not incremental improvement — it is a fundamentally new way to manufacture composites. You will sell something that genuinely changes what is possible for your customers.
- Marquee Customers. Your customers are the most sophisticated aerospace and defense companies in the world. This is as high-end as A&D sales gets.
- Competitive base compensation, commission structure, and equity (RSUs) in a company at a pivotal growth inflection point.
- You are not joining a large organization where your contribution gets diluted. You will build and lead the commercial function at a company that is moving from development into production. What you do will directly determine how fast we grow.
- The work we do strengthens national security and advances American manufacturing. Our technology is enabling the next generation of defense and aerospace systems.
