Job DescriptionThe Visual Merchandising (VM) Environmental Graphic Designer is responsible for creating compelling graphic design solutions that support Nordstrom’s brand, store environments, events, and digital experiences.   • Design and execute graphic concepts for environmental design, signage, and merchandising across physical and digital platforms.
  • Lead branding and graphic development for environmental projects, ensuring alignment with overall design direction.
  • Apply expertise in wayfinding, navigation, and destination systems to support in-store and building-wide initiatives.
  • Integrate graphic design within 3D environments to enhance spatial storytelling and customer engagement.
  • Create and present proposal decks and design concepts to stakeholders using VM-approved tools and formats.
  • Produce detailed drawings and production-ready files for rollout and execution.
  • Develop vendor proposals, specifications, and material guidelines for fabrication and installation.
  • Customize designs for specific stores, divisions, or events while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Review and approve production proofs, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
  • Stay current with VM tools, processes, and brand standards, acting as a brand ambassador across all projects.

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. 
Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Washington: $69,000- $110,500 annually

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
