Job Description SummaryGE HealthCare is undergoing a seismic transformation, building on its legacy as a trusted medical equipment manufacturer with the introduction of innovative software solutions designed to help solve some of the biggest challenges in the healthcare industry. The role is global and cross-functional in nature as GE HealthCare formally launches and scales an increasingly diverse range of cloud-based and AI-powered SaaS products for our health system customers. The Vice President, Digital Pricing & Contract Strategy, will pioneer the company’s strategy for pricing and contracting new SaaS products, including the design, structure, and implementation of customer pricing models and sales agreements for enterprise-wide software solutions. The successful candidate will develop and manage pricing strategies and contracts that align with GE HealthCare business goals and market trends. Additionally, this leader will build a team of pricing, contract, and finance experts commiserate with the growing scope of the company’s SaaS solutions. This senior role will play a crucial role in driving GE HealthCare’s ambition of becoming a technology leader in the healthcare industry.

Job Description

Job Profile and Essential Duties:

  • Strategic Pricing Design and Contract Structuring: Develop and drive the SaaS pricing and contracting function for all of GE HealthCare, with particular emphasis on New Product Introductions (NPIs), ensuring alignment with overall GE HealthCare business objectives around cloud, AI, and SaaS offerings.
  • Market Awareness: Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer feedback to inform pricing and contracting decisions and strategies. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to SaaS pricing and contracts.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional team, including Sales, Finance, Product Management, Legal, and Marketing to align pricing strategies with overall business objectives. The successful candidate will engage their colleagues early in the product ideation and development cycle to provide counsel from the perspective of customer needs and desires.
  • Product Pricing Structures: Work closely with product teams to understand optimal pricing models; demonstrate understanding of how multiple product offerings should be reflected in a broad enterprise agreement over several offerings, healthcare modalities, and customer objectives.
  • Performance Forecasting and Monitoring: Work with the Finance team to forecast revenue projections for SaaS products. Monitor contract performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
  • Executive Communication: Prepare pricing models, forecasts, and reports for executive leadership and other stakeholders. Establish an effective, visual, data-driven dashboard for senior leadership consumption.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate strategic initiatives to key stakeholders and provide regular updates on progress through an effective, visual, data-driven dashboard for leadership consumption. Requires regular engagement with executive leadership across the company including the business CEOs, CMOs, and CTO.
  • Change Management: Lead change management efforts associated with pricing/contractual models, ensuring adoption and buy-in across the organization. Foster an environment of transparency and trust across GE HealthCare regions and segments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in pricing strategy, contract management, or a related field, preferably in the SaaS industry. Experience in healthcare contracting preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market research to make informed pricing decisions.
  • Excellent cross-departmental communication skills, with a proven track record of managing complex contracts.
  • Proficient in contract management software and tools.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting techniques.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $200,000.00-$300,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
