Who We Are

Perchwell is the modern real estate listings platform built for agents to search smarter, collaborate better, and close deals faster. We are building the future of residential real estateʼs critical listings infrastructure: a platform where market  research and client collaboration converge. Our modern architecture enables continuous innovation at a pace legacy systems cannot match, with AI-powered features and mobile-first capabilities designed for how agents actually work. As consumer expectations and technology evolve, Perchwell remains focused on our core vision:  empowering real estate professionals with the most intelligent, data-driven, and connected platform in the industry.

Backed by leading venture capital firms including Lux Capital and Founders Fund, along with strategic partnerships with some of the country's top Multiple Listing Services (MLSs), Perchwell represents the first major new platform to enter the listings technology market in decades. This unique combination of institutional investment and deep industry alignment provides both the resources and market validation needed to transform the multi-trillion dollar residential real estate industry.

What We Are Looking For

You'll play a critical role in driving the next phase of growth for Perchwell. As a member of the executive team, you'll serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, helping shape company strategy, resource allocation, and operational execution as we scale.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you'll build and lead the financial foundation required to support Perchwell's next chapter of growth. You'll operate at both a high-level strategic altitude and down in the details, owning FP&A, fundraising initiatives, board reporting, and cross-functional business partnership across the organization.

We're looking for a highly analytical operator who combines strategic thinking with exceptional execution. You'll help establish the systems, processes, and decision-making frameworks that enable Perchwell to scale while maintaining the agility and ambition that have driven our success to date.

What You Will Do
  • As a member of the executive team, you will help drive company strategy, growth initiatives, resource allocation, and business performance.

  • Own FP&A, including forecasting, planning, and internal/external reporting.

  • Partner closely with leaders across GTM, Product, and Operations to improve decision-making and drive accountability against company goals.

  • Lead fundraising activities, investor communications, and board reporting processes, serving as a key interface with investors and external stakeholders.

  • Develop and operationalize best-in-class SaaS metrics, reporting frameworks, and performance management systems across the business.

  • Oversee financial operations, budgeting, cash management, and business performance reporting while ensuring financial rigor and discipline across the organization.

  • Evaluate strategic opportunities, partnerships, and emerging business initiatives through rigorous financial analysis and business modeling.

  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing finance organization as the company grows.

Required for the Role
  • 12+ years of relevant experience across strategic finance, investment banking, PE, VC, corporate finance, business operations, or related fields.

  • Experience in scaling high-growth technology or SaaS businesses, preferably in venture-backed environments in the Series B through E stages.

  • Demonstrated success partnering directly with CEOs, founders, and executive leadership teams on strategic and operational initiatives.

  • Experience leading company planning processes, board reporting, fundraising activities, and investor communications.

  • A highly ambitious "roll up your sleeves" mentality and willingness to work cross-functionally to solve complex business problems.

  • Deep understanding of SaaS business models, including recurring revenue metrics, pricing, sales compensation, forecasting, retention, expansion, and unit economics.

  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to influence decisions across all levels of an organization.

  • Experience in real estate technology, marketplace businesses, data businesses, or adjacent industries is a plus.

In this role, you’ll work out of our New York City HQ in Soho Manhattan at least 4 days/week.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
