About the roleWe’re looking for an exceptional go-to-market and partnerships leader to own growth strategy and execution across Crunchyroll’s Latin America region.
As VP, Go-To-Market & Partnerships Marketing (LATAM), you'll lead the regional growth agenda across subscriber acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue. Operating at the intersection of strategy, partnerships, marketing, product, content, analytics, and operations, you'll shape how millions of fans discover, engage with, and stay connected to Crunchyroll while driving sustainable business growth across one of Crunchyroll's most dynamic and high-growth regions.
This is a highly visible leadership role with significant business ownership and influence across the organization.
- Own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy and performance across the LATAM region
- Drive subscriber growth, engagement, retention, and revenue across all major growth levers
- Define regional priorities, market strategies, partnership strategies, and investment plans to maximize business impact
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on market dynamics, competitive trends, partnership opportunities, growth opportunities, and performance across the region
- Translate global priorities into regional strategies and execution plans that drive measurable business outcomes
- Own the go-to-market strategy for third-party distribution and strategic partnerships, including local platforms, telcos, retailers, and payment partners
- Partner closely with Business Development to shape partnership strategy, support commercial negotiations, and ensure successful go-to-market execution
- Lead partnership marketing strategy and execution, ensuring alignment with growth objectives and measurable business impact
- Align and influence senior stakeholders across a complex, matrixed organization to drive clarity, decision-making, and execution at scale
- Own regional GTM and partnerships marketing budgets, optimizing investments across markets, channels, and partnership opportunities
- Establish clear KPIs, performance frameworks, and operating rhythms to drive accountability and execution
- Develop and lead a high-performing team while fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence
We are considering applicants available to work a hybrid schedule, with three days each week onsite at our Mexico City office.
About You- 15+ years of executive leadership experience driving growth, go-to-market strategy, partnerships, or commercial strategy within streaming, media, or consumer subscription businesses
- Deep understanding of the LATAM media and digital ecosystem, including competitive dynamics, consumer behavior, distribution models, and partnership-led growth strategies
- Significant experience leading growth, go-to-market, partnerships, or commercial initiatives in Brazil, with deep understanding of the Brazilian media, streaming, and digital ecosystem
- Proven success owning and scaling growth across large, complex regions, businesses, or consumer platforms, with accountability for subscriber growth, engagement, retention, and revenue performance
- Experience developing regional growth strategies, including market prioritization, investment planning, partnership strategy, and resource allocation across markets, channels, and growth levers
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders, align cross-functional teams, and drive execution across complex, matrixed organizations
- Track record of leading large-scale cross-functional initiatives spanning Product, Marketing, Content, Partnerships, Analytics, Operations, and Commercial teams
- Expertise in full-funnel growth, including user acquisition, lifecycle marketing, CRM, retention, partnership marketing, and product-led growth
- Experience supporting and influencing complex partnership and distribution agreements, translating commercial opportunities into measurable growth outcomes
- Strong financial, strategic, and analytical acumen, including experience managing budgets, forecasting performance, optimizing investments, and translating insights into business decisions
- Experience operating in global organizations across multiple markets, cultures, and time zones, with exceptional executive presence and communication skills
- Fluency in English and Spanish required; Portuguese strongly preferred
- Experience building and developing high-performing teams and leaders
- Passion for anime, entertainment, or fandom-driven businesses is a plus

The GTM & Planning team partners closely with U.S.-based leadership and regional teams to develop and execute go-to-market and partnership marketing programs that scale Crunchyroll’s footprint across both its owned platforms and partner ecosystem.
As part of the broader Growth & Planning organization, this team sits at the center of performance marketing, partnerships, and regional strategy - ensuring alignment across functions to deliver measurable business impact.
