About the Role

As the VP of Marketing at Unqork, you will own and lead all marketing functions, driving our overall marketing strategy and making a direct impact on our company's growth goals.

This is a hands-on, strategic role where you'll build and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy and tactical plan that builds our overall brand awareness, communicates about our product and driveslead generation for our GTM organization. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic leader with a proven track record of marketing complex B2B SaaS solutions, with a deep focus on AI. 

The Impact U will make: 

  • Architect the Strategy: Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and CRO, taking the lead in defining Unqork's market segmentation, ideal customer profile, and overall narrative. Develop and own a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with our technology and revenue goals.
  • Be a Brand Steward: Take ownership of Unqork’s brand vision and translate it into a compelling, consistent, and scalable brand message. You will guide our public relations, communications, and thought leadership efforts, ensuring our position is clear to the market.
  • Build the Organization: You will hire, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team. 
  • Drive Full-Funnel Growth: Oversee all marketing disciplines, including demand generation, product marketing, content strategy, events, and marketing operations. You will be responsible for building a robust and predictable pipeline of qualified leads for our go-to-market organization. 
  • Translate Technology into Value: Leveraging your technical background, you will translate the complexities of our platform and its emerging AI capabilities into digestible, impactful messaging and collateral. 
  • Partner Cross-Functionally: Collaborate closely with the CEO, CRO, Product, and Sales teams to ensure all marketing initiatives are integrated, aligned with GTM strategies, and directly contribute to our business objectives.

What U bring: 

  • Experience: 15+ years of progressive marketing experience, including 5+ years of leadership, with a proven track record of leading and scaling marketing teams in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment. 
  • Technical Acumen: A proven ability to translate complex technical products into clear, compelling, and market-ready messaging.
  • Strategic & Data-Driven: You have a data-driven mindset and a proven ability to use market research to inform strategy. You'll build credibility with leadership by showcasing the science behind your marketing decisions. 
  • A "Builder" Mentality: You're a hands-on leader who has successfully scaled companies from the ground up in a scrappy startup environment, but you also have exposure to mature companies and can apply "best-in-class" practices to our growing team.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with executives and cross-functional teams, particularly in a high-paced, demanding environment.
  • AI Experience (nice-to-have): Experience marketing AI-powered products and a strong understanding of how to communicate the value of AI to an enterprise audience.

💲 Hiring Ranges: 

  • Tier 1: $253,000 - $310,000 base salary 
  • Tier 2: $227,700 - $279,000 base salary

Unqork employs a market-driven approach to establish compensation ranges. In addition to a base salary, employees may also be eligible to receive a target incentive and company equity in the form of stock options.

An employee’s compensation within the range provided above depends on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, their location, role, skillset, level of experience, and similar peer salaries.

As a remote-first company, Unqork incorporates a geographic differential into our compensation structure, depending on the candidate’s location. We utilize a tiered system—Tier 1 and Tier 2—to accurately reflect local market rates and ensure our compensation packages are both fair and competitive.
Our geographic tiers are defined as follows:

  • Tier 1: New York Metro, Seattle Metro, San Francisco Bay Area 
  • Tier 2: All other US and US territory locations
