Founded in 2007, Risepoint's mission is to expand access to high-quality, affordable, and workforce-relevant education, especially for working and adult students. Risepoint brings single-minded dedication to student success, an integrated set of services, and data-driven performance to our collaboration with university partners.

Risepoint is seeking a Vice President of Partner Brand & Creative Services, a hybrid strategic and operational leader responsible for evolving and scaling our creative services organization. This role blends brand development leadership with deep creative operations expertise to deliver performance-driven creative for our university partners.

The VP will oversee a centralized shared services model supporting brand and campaign development for key partners, content, design, and video production—while ensuring project management, delivery processes, and resource planning run with excellence. This role reports to the SVP of Channel Marketing and plays a critical part in transforming the way creative fuels our partner success.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Brand Development & Creative Leadership

  • Lead the development of partner-specific brand platforms, messaging architectures, and campaign strategies that clearly differentiate universities and drive student engagement.
  • Guide the creative direction across campaigns and assets—ensuring work is on-brand, compelling, and performance-focused.
  • Act as a thought partner to Product Marketing, Paid Media, Digital Marketing, and Field Marketing to bring integrated brand campaigns to life across the student journey.
  • Oversee content and video strategy, ensuring storytelling builds trust and relevance with prospective students.

Content Leadership

  • Partner with the Digital Marketing and Performance teams to implement content optimizations and performance measurement.
  • Ensure all content—across landing pages, blog posts, campaigns and video scripts—is rooted in brand strategy while following SEO best practices.
  • Establish content quality standards and editorial guidelines that reflect both brand voice and search performance goals.

Creative Operations & Project Delivery

  • Build and evolve the creative shared services function, including intake, prioritization, timelines, and project scoping.
  • Drive cross-functional workflows, capacity planning, and operational KPIs to deliver creative work efficiently and at scale.
  • Implement and optimize project management tools and reporting dashboards.
  • Develop and uphold service level agreements, feedback loops, and approval processes that streamline delivery and uphold quality.
  • Oversee new partner and program launch processes from a creative and operations standpoint.

Team Leadership & Vendor Management

  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of designers, writers, content strategists, producers, and project managers.
  • Cultivate a culture of creativity, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Manage a hybrid internal/external resourcing model, including freelance and agency partners.
  • Provide clear career paths and growth opportunities for internal talent.

Budget & Performance Oversight

  • Manage creative and operational budgets and make resourcing recommendations aligned to business priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve throughput, quality, and campaign results through better tools, talent, and processes.

Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in creative services, brand strategy, or integrated marketing in a matrixed organization.
  • 7+ years in a senior leadership role overseeing both creative teams and creative operations.
  • Experience managing brand content strategy while balancing SEO priorities.
  • Deep experience building brand frameworks, messaging, and integrated campaign strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing creative teams and scale creative output via centralized operations.
  • Proficiency in Workfront or similar project management tools.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Proven experience with shared services or agency-style delivery models.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in higher education, education technology, or B2B2C business models.
  • PMP or similar project management certification.
  • Experience in organizational change and creative team transformation.

And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech
