Who is Credible?

We are a marketplace where users can compare personalized, prequalified rates and quotes from multiple lenders and carriers, for student loans, mortgages, personal loans, and insurance.

We’re challenging the status quo by giving power to the consumer. We believe in a world where ‘ethical’, ‘lending’, and ‘insurance’ can coexist, so we set out to build innovative platforms that actually work for customers. Our mission is to help people find the best loan or insurance policy possible.

We believe researching and buying loans or insurance shouldn’t be confusing or complex, so we’ve focused on simplicity.

About the Role

Credible, a FOX Corporation company, is seeking a high-octane, data-obsessed VP, Performance Marketing to lead our paid customer acquisition engine. Credible helps millions of people make smarter financial decisions—from student loans to mortgages. Backed by the massive reach of FOX, we are uniquely positioned to combine world-class performance marketing with the authority of a household media brand.

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be the primary architect of our paid growth strategy. You will own the execution and optimization of a multi-million dollar budget across Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic, and Display. You aren't just managing spend; you are responsible for scaling a sustainable, high-ROI acquisition machine that fuels Credible’s growth across our owned properties and strategic publisher partner network.

 Key Responsibilities
  • Paid Media Strategy & Execution: Own the full-funnel performance strategy across Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta, and emerging platforms, ensuring every dollar spent contributes to profitable growth.
  • Budget & P&L Accountability: Manage and allocate a significant performance marketing budget. You will be responsible for hitting ambitious targets for CAC, ROAS, and volume, providing regular forecasting and performance reporting to leadership.
  • Multi-Channel Optimization: Continuously optimize campaigns, creative assets, and landing pages to drive maximum conversion and efficiency.
  • Strategic Publisher Network: Collaborate with our Business Development team to manage and scale performance-based marketing efforts across our unique media publisher partner network and Credible’s publisher ecosystem.
  • Data & Measurement: Establish and refine measurement frameworks. Work with Data Science and Engineering to improve attribution modeling, tracking, and the integration of first-party data into our bidding strategies.
  • Experimentation Culture: Design and lead a rigorous A/B testing roadmap—testing everything from bidding algorithms and creative hooks to granular audience segmentation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the Head of Organic and Head of Lifecycle to ensure a seamless customer journey and with General Managers to optimize their conversion funnels.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of performance marketers, fostering a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and continuous learning.
 Education & Experience

We are looking for a leader who is both a strategic thinker and a technical "operator." If you meet most of the criteria below, we want to hear from you:

  • 10+ years of experience in Performance Marketing/Growth, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role managing high-budget environments.
  • Deep Subject Matter Expertise: You have a "hands-on" background in SEM, Paid Social, and Programmatic. You understand the nuances of auction dynamics, algorithm shifts, and privacy-first tracking.
  • Analytical Rigor: You are comfortable navigating complex datasets. Proficiency with SQL, Tableau, or similar BI tools is a significant plus.
  • Financial Services or Marketplace Experience: Experience in high-consideration consumer categories (FinTech, Insurance, Real Estate) is highly preferred.
  • Scaling Track Record: Proven ability to scale monthly spend significantly while maintaining or improving efficiency metrics.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Experience working within a large media ecosystem or with external publisher partners is a plus.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay ranges for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location, are listed below. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
