SVP, Actuary
We will count on you to:
Consult with brokers on client needs and advise on reinsurance programs based on risk tolerance levels and industry trends to help clients mitigate risk.
Implement complex models and calculations to assess risk and develop pricing strategies for a range of risk exposures for clients.
Lead junior resources in building complex analyses to evaluate assumptions, premiums, and risk, while consulting with clients on reinsurance actuarial services.
Present analysis to clients and reinsurance markets, acting as both a client advocate and actuarial advisor.
Drive internal actuarial and strategic projects with minimal supervision.
What you need to have:
ACAS or FCAS designation with 10+ years of experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Math, Statistics, or a related field.
Proven experience in pricing, valuation, and/or capital modeling.
Proficiency in visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
Coding experience in programming languages (e.g., Alteryx, R, Python, VBA, SQL).
