Summary:
In support of Strategic Planning Strategies' subscribers and their high-net-worth clients, the Wealth Planning Associate Analyst, will be a dedicated resource and member of the client-facing Sophisticated Planning Strategies team. Acting in a support capacity, the role entails collaborating with other financial professionals (i.e. CFP®, Attorney, CPA) within the SPS team on opportunities to solve for the complex needs of our advisor's clients. Key elements of success in the role include strong communication skills, strong planning background with experience in the high-net-worth space, and ability to work well in a team environment.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing financial documents and accurately assess and enter financial data into financial planning software.
  • Analyzing clients' financial statuses to assist CFP® and attorney in building wealth plans.
  • Analyzing existing risk management products (i.e. Insurance, Disability) and/or investment products a client may own.
  • Creating insurance illustrations and/or investment proposals.
  • Build and leverage relationships with internal stakeholders to address unique client circumstances to ensure appropriate and timely delivery of financial recommendations.
  • Ensure timely responses to client inquiries and issues, demonstrating a strong commitment to client satisfaction.
  • Efficiently organize and manage casework, ensuring proactive communication with the analyst you are supporting.
  • Participate in client meetings with the advisors.
  • Staying current with the latest company products and strategies as well as staying informed of latest industry strategies/trends.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Financial Planning, Finance, Economics or Accounting.
  • Minimum of five years of financial planning experience; High-Net-Worth experience highly desired.
  • CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation strongly preferred.
  • Series 6 or 7 required or obtained within the first 180 days of hire.
  • In-depth knowledge on life insurance products and advanced solutions preferred.
  • State of residence insurance license required or obtained within first 180 days of hire.
  • Proven experience in developing comprehensive financial plans and effectively presenting tailored recommendations to clients.
  • Strong consultative, communication and analytical skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders from various backgrounds and with different communication styles.
  • Proven ability to develop trusting relationships with financial advisors and colleagues.
  • Advanced skills with financial planning software and/or excel required.
  • Exhibit a team player and growth mindset.

This position has been classified as a Registered Representative under NMIS guidelines and requires fingerprinting.Series 6 - FINRA, Series 7 - FINRA

Pay Range - Start:
$78,190.00
Pay Range - End:
$145,210.00
Geographic Specific Pay Structure:
Structure 110:
$86,030.00 USD - $159,770.00 USD
Structure 115:
$89,950.00 USD - $167,050.00 USD
