About the role

Koda North is hiring Web Developers at junior or mid levels to help build, maintain, and improve modern websites, web applications, client portals, dashboards, APIs, and business software.

This role is a good fit for developers who understand how real web products are built, launched, maintained, and improved over time. Depending on experience level, you may work on frontend interfaces, backend functionality, CMS-based websites, APIs, databases, integrations, bug fixes, performance improvements, and production support.

We are looking for European candidates with strong English communication skills who are reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable working in remote teams, and able to build clean, maintainable web solutions for real business needs.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain websites, web applications, portals, and internal tools
Develop responsive frontend interfaces using modern web technologies
Implement backend features, APIs, integrations, and application workflows
Work with databases, content structures, forms, and data-driven functionality
Translate design files, product requirements, and client needs into working web features
Fix bugs, troubleshoot issues, and improve existing website or application behavior
Improve performance, accessibility, usability, security, and mobile responsiveness
Work with CMS platforms, custom codebases, plugins, themes, or reusable components as needed
Test your work carefully across browsers, devices, and user flows
Follow team standards for Git, code reviews, documentation, and deployment workflows
Communicate progress clearly and raise blockers early
Collaborate with engineering, design, QA, product, and client-facing teams
Support launches, production fixes, and ongoing improvements

Qualifications

2+ years of professional web development experience for junior candidates
4+ years of professional web development experience for mid-level candidates
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web development
Experience building real websites, web applications, or business software
Experience with at least one modern frontend framework such as React, Vue, Angular, or Next.js
Working knowledge of backend development, APIs, databases, or CMS-based systems
Experience working with REST APIs, forms, authentication, and application data
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across browser, frontend, backend, and integration issues
Experience with Git, pull requests, code reviews, and team-based development workflows
Strong written and spoken English communication skills
Reliable ownership of assigned work from clarification through delivery

Nice to have

Experience with WordPress, headless CMS platforms, Shopify, Webflow, or similar web platforms
Experience with Node.js, Python, Django, FastAPI, Laravel, Express, or similar backend tools
Experience building SaaS products, dashboards, client portals, admin panels, or internal business tools
Experience with AWS, Docker, CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, or cloud deployments
Experience with website performance optimization, SEO structure, Core Web Vitals, or accessibility improvements
Experience with third-party integrations, payment systems, CRMs, analytics, forms, or marketing tools
Experience with healthcare, healthtech, clinical workflows, or compliance-aware software
Experience improving legacy websites, refactoring code, or stabilizing production applications
