Our client is looking for a Mid-Level WordPress Developer who excels at solving technical issues, maintaining high-performing websites, and collaborating directly with clients. They operate in the digital marketing and web services industry and have experienced consistent growth in recent years by delivering performance-focused websites and long-term technical partnerships.

This is a client-facing role designed for a developer who enjoys post-launch website management, troubleshooting, hosting coordination, and continuous optimization. The ideal candidate is comfortable communicating with clients during U.S. business hours and takes ownership of stability, security, and performance across multiple web properties.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate technical updates and project progress clearly to clients and internal team members

  • Translate technical challenges into clear, business-oriented explanations

  • Participate in client calls, video meetings, and written communications

  • Diagnose and resolve WordPress issues including plugin conflicts, theme errors, and performance bottlenecks

  • Use browser developer tools and logs to identify and fix issues

  • Escalate complex server or security concerns to senior developers when necessary

  • Manage post-launch website updates and feature enhancements

  • Implement advanced plugin configurations and theme adjustments

  • Support website deployments and environment updates

  • Maintain hosting environments using cPanel

  • Assist with server configuration, DNS updates, and performance improvements

  • Perform routine maintenance including updates, backups, and security monitoring

  • Apply website speed optimization techniques and WordPress security best practices

  • Manage multiple website maintenance tasks and support tickets simultaneously



Requirements
  • Availability during core U.S. business hours

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills

  • Proven experience in a client-facing technical role

  • Solid working knowledge of WordPress core and theme development

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently

Qualifications
  • Experience with page builders such as Elementor or Beaver Builder

  • Hands-on experience managing hosting environments through cPanel

  • Working understanding of the LAMP stack

  • Practical experience implementing DNS changes including A, CNAME, MX, and TXT records

  • Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript including jQuery

  • Experience using Git for version control and code deployment

  • Knowledge of website performance optimization and security practices
