Job Title: Workday Application Management & Security Support Consultant
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: Full-Time for Program Duration (2+ Years)
Start: ASAP

Overview

We are seeking experienced Workday Application Management and Security Support Consultants to support a large-scale Workday implementation. This role will partner closely with the UA Application Management team and the implementation partner to provide end-to-end support across Workday Security and Shared Capabilities, ensuring a secure, compliant, and well-governed Workday environment from design through go-live and transition to production operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide functional and technical support for Workday Security and Shared Capabilities across all phases of the implementation:

    • Planning, design, configuration, testing, and deployment

    • Tenant build planning and environment validation

    • Test preparation, execution, and UAT support

    • Documentation, decision papers, and executive-ready presentations

    • Integration, reporting, and data conversion security validation

    • User support model and access provisioning process definition

  • Design, configure, and maintain Workday security roles, domains, business process security policies, and user-based security

  • Define and enforce IT security standards, governance, and compliance controls within the Workday environment

  • Analyze and mitigate data security risks and separation-of-duties (SoD) issues

  • Partner with UA stakeholders and the implementation partner to gather security requirements and support solution design decisions

  • Manage user access, role assignments, change management, and security testing

  • Identify opportunities to enhance security posture and reduce institutional risk

  • Provide troubleshooting and production support to ensure business continuity during implementation

  • Manage multiple priorities while meeting project milestones and deadlines

Requirements
  • Strong hands-on experience with Workday Security and Shared Capabilities

  • Experience supporting at least one full-cycle Workday implementation

  • In-depth knowledge of Workday security framework: domains, roles, BP security, user-based and role-based access

  • Understanding of data privacy, compliance, and separation-of-duties controls

  • Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work in a large, complex, multi-year transformation program

  • Workday Security Certification is a strong plus
