The Workday Integrations Consulting Services Manager should be a “go to” practice leader, expected to provide expert guidance to our clients and project team members. You will “bridge the gap” between the business and technical teams by solving complex Workday intersystem problems. You will guide clients through the transformation, implementation, and operation phases of a Workday implementation. This individual will assist the sales team with sales activities, such as orals, estimations, and Statements of Work (SOWs). This person works closely with Engagement Managers, Project Managers, Managing Consultants, and leads.  As a Workday Integrations Consulting Services Manager, you will bring your technical skills, ability to keep the business context in sight, and a strong work ethic to a team with a positive attitude, a collaborative culture, and a passion for helping our customers to be successful.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead phase 1 implementation projects with a large team of integration developers

  • Work directly with key business and IT stakeholders to confirm requirements, consider design alternatives, facilitate discussions and ultimately drive requirements sign-off

  • Evaluate, communicate and coordinate the technical impacts of application configuration decisions

  • Create detailed system interface specifications, field mapping, and system process designs

  • Develop, test and deploy integrations required to meet business requirements

  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and educate clients on developing and operating interfaces to and from a SaaS platform

  • Track issues and risks, communicate status and escalate concerns to project management

Skills & Requirements:

  • 6 years of Workday certified Integration consulting experience

  • Acted as technical lead for multiple phase 1 implementations

  • Current Workday Studio integration certification held for over 4 years

  • Extend and/or Orchestrate experience preferred but not required

  • Able to demonstrate the creation of innovative solutions for complex Workday integrations

  • Project experience in a technical or techno-functional role on one or more ERP implementation projects using SOA tools (SAP NetWeaver, Oracle Fusion, Workday Studio or other middleware platform)

  • Demonstrated proficiency with web service technologies (REST, JSON, SOAP, HTTP, SSL, PGP, SAML, etc)

  • B.A. / B.S. degree in Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, other Engineering discipline or equivalant experience

  • Up to 50% travel at times

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities; able to communicate effectively with diverse people and individuals at various levels within the organization

  • Superior detail orientation, organization, and analytical skills

  • Outstanding Excel skills

  • Thrive on simultaneously operating at multiple levels and managing multiple responsibilities

  • Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, growing, ecosystem with minimal supervision

  • Possess sales engagement experience estimating and presenting to prospects

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $169,769 - $212,441 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program , based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
