The Opportunity

Joining Adobe as the Manager of Operational People Reporting, you will take charge of developing, constructing, and enhancing Workday reporting solutions for the entire organization. Your contributions are essential in delivering data-driven insights to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency at Adobe.

In addition to deep expertise in Workday, this position requires strategic, systems-level thinking, allowing us to design reporting processes and frameworks that scale across the company, align with Adobe’s broader people data ecosystem, and enable consistency, automation, and insight at scale.

What You'll Do:

Reporting Management & Development

  • Develop a comprehensive strategy for Workday reporting within Adobe’s broader people data landscape, ensuring reporting solutions integrate with upstream and downstream systems.
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of Workday reports and calculated fields, from intake and consultation through building, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with Employee Experience teams and others to deliver seamless operational reporting by translating business needs into technical reporting solutions.
  • Build and implement efficient, scalable reporting solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Provide insight into how reporting development decisions impact long-term scalability, user experience, and data quality.

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Find opportunities to automate manual processes and streamline reporting workflows.
  • Partner with HR Tech and People Analytics teams to implement scalable frameworks for intake, delivery, and maintenance of reporting requests.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational reporting efficiency.

Team Development

  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative culture passionate about technical excellence, shared learning, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Conduct workshops to improve internal reporting capabilities and external usage of reporting

What You Need to Succeed:

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience as a Workday Reporting Lead or Consultant, or similar role.
  • Proven experience supporting full lifecycle Workday reporting, from strategy to delivery.
  • Hands-on expertise with Workday Reporting, including Advanced, Matrix and Composite Reporting.
  • Experience leading reporting development and process alignment initiatives.
  • ServiceNow queue and ticket management experience (a plus).

Technical Skills

  • Profound understanding of Workday reporting architecture, data structures, and module interrelationships.
  • Skilled at developing and improving calculated fields and custom reports.
  • Strong understanding of Workday Security and its impact on report access and development.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $129,700 -- $247,550 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

 

In California, the pay range for this position is $170,900 - $247,550 In Washington, the pay range for this position is $153,800 - $222,800

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
