What you'll do here:

ed2go is seeking a Workforce Funding Operations Specialist to operationalize and support the execution of our workforce funding strategy. Functioning as the operational backbone of the workforce funding function, this role will lead ETPL administration, funding components of partner onboarding, workforce funding inquiries, and cross-functional issue resolution. The successful candidate will bring strong operational rigor, attention to detail, and partner-facing communication skills to maintain accurate funding records, coordinate sophisticated requirements, and create repeatable processes that enable Workforce Development Managers and other revenue-generating teams to focus on partner adoption and funded enrollment growth.

  • Lead ETPL administration and maintenance, including submissions, renewals, approvals, deadline tracking, and ongoing compliance requirements across eligible training provider lists.
  • Maintain accurate ETPL assets and related records in Salesforce, currently representing more than 5,800 listings, and use Lightcast, labor market information, and other research sources to support submissions and course alignment.
  • Own workforce-specific partner onboarding and setup for third-party funding programs, guiding partners through workforce support offered through ed2go, enrolling third party-funded students, and account maintenance on funding contacts—particularly during the first year of implementation.
  • Carry out operational support for inquiries regarding workforce funding. Coordinate cross-functional resolution of workforce funding issues across Product, Enrollment, Student Support, Marketing, Finance, and other internal teams, serving as the consistent owner who drives each issue through resolution and communicates status to interested parties.
  • Maintain internal workforce funding documentation, standard operating procedures, records, approval requirements, and knowledge resources, so processes are clear, current, auditable, and scalable.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Learning & Development teams to develop internal training, job aids, and partner-facing resources that build workforce funding knowledge, improve consistency, and reduce avoidable administrative burden.
  • Produce and maintain reporting that supports data accuracy, operational visibility, compliance, and decision-making across ETPL activity, partner implementation, funding programs, and funded enrollments.
  • Collaborate with internal ed2go teams to provide baseline, repeatable support for workforce-related questions. This may include verification of funding, course updates, and triaging simple partner or case manager requests.
  • Research grants, scholarships, public funding programs, and other funding types to clarify eligibility requirements, allowable uses, relevant ed2go course offerings, and practical ways ed2go can support partner participation.
  • Identify and implement workflow improvements that simplify handoffs, strengthen controls, increase operational efficiency, and support scalable funded enrollment growth.
  • Deliver support related to workforce funding initiatives and other special projects, as needed.
Skills you will need here:

Required:

  • Proven experience supporting federal and/or state funding programs, grants, scholarships, or other publicly funded workforce initiatives.
  • Knowledge of WIOA, Trade Adjustment Assistance, Vocational Rehabilitation, or similar workforce funding programs and their administrative requirements.
  • Familiarity with ETPL processes, Lightcast, and other labor market information databases.
  • Experience coordinating operational processes across multiple collaborators, with proven ability to handle handoffs, dependencies, deadlines, and issue resolution from start to finish.
  • Strong attention to detail in interpreting program requirements, maintaining accurate documentation, and handling high-volume records with consistency.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems like Salesforce and experience maintaining data quality, operational records, and reporting assets.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, including proficiency with Excel for coordinating and communicating operational data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain forms, processes, requirements, and next steps clearly to partners and internal collaborators.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to balance administrative responsibilities, partner needs, and special projects.
  • A solution-focused approach to working optimally across various teams including Product, Enrollment, Student Support, Marketing, Finance, and Sales.
  • Ability to develop and sustain SOPs, training resources, and scalable workflows to enhance operational consistency and lessen administrative workload.
Preferred:
  • Partner-facing experience in account support, partner success, program operations, or similar roles.
  • Experience supporting invoicing, billing, progress reporting, compliance documentation, or customized grant- and cohort-based program implementations.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
