Trupanion has appointed Fawwad Qureshi as its new chief financial officer. Qureshi has over 20 years of financial experience, coming most recently from Expedia Group, where he had full P&L and commercial responsibility for Expedia’s portfolio of consumer brands including Vrbo and Hotels.com. Prior to Expedia, Qureshi acted as CFO for Nike Global Technology.
Quereshi will join Trupanion on September 25. Wei Li, the interim CFO since June, will remain with the company as SVP, finance and corporate controller.
Trupanion provides pet medical insurance for over over 900,000 cats and dogs enrolled in its plans throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico, Canada, Australia and Europe. The Seattle-based company was founded in 1999.
