Google continues to expand. Google is one of the largest employers in the world and now employs 7,200 full-time employees in the state of Washington alone. Google’s offices in Seattle and Kirkland contribute to most of Google’s products. Google is looking to add even more workers, with 900 positions available in Seattle. [Built In Seattle]

Epic Games received $2B. Epic Games, the creator behind Fortnite, received $2 billion from Sony and KIRKBI. The funding is intended to create a gaming metaverse, something Epic Games has shown interest and experience in. [Built In Seattle]

Shipium gained $27.5M. Shipium helps e-commerce businesses streamline their shipping operations to offer fast and free shipping to their customers. The Series A round will allow the company to offer more features and integrations. [Built In Seattle]

Knock CRM partnered with MeetElise. Seattle-based Knock CRM is the developer of a management platform and CRM for owners and managers of multifamily properties. The company partnered with MeetElise, an AI-powered leasing agent, allowing Knock to use MeetElise to streamline leasing communications with renters. [PR Newswire]
