We Make Remote Work Remarkable • TopTalent from LatAm

Hello! We are GoFasti, a Talent-as-a-Service. GoFasti bridges the gap between world-class developers and designers from LatAm and first-class companies around the globe.

We need an English-fluent Senior DevOps Engineer, based in Latin America, available to work remotely.
We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested and proactive person, who's constantly learning and improving their skills.

Are you the one we are looking for?

Responsibilities:

  • Architect resilient, cloud-native infrastructure solutions aligned with industry best practices and client business objectives.

  • Produce comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, migration roadmaps, and operational runbooks.

  • Lead technical discussions during client engagements, translating requirements into actionable roadmaps.

  • Design, deploy, and manage production-grade cloud environments hosting high-performance Java backend services.

  • Standardize containerization and orchestration strategies using Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.

  • Implement advanced observability strategies to analyze system performance and optimize Java applications.

  • Develop and enforce "Security as Code" practices, integrating automated identity management and compliance into CI/CD.

  • Ensure infrastructure designs adhere to industry standards and compliance frameworks.

  • Implement high-availability configurations, automated failover, and disaster recovery strategies.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles within professional or consulting environments.

  • Proven ability to manage and deliver infrastructure solutions across multiple, concurrent client engagements.

  • Deep understanding of the Java ecosystem (Java 8, 11, 17, or 21) with specific expertise in running Spring Boot and Spring Cloud applications at scale.

  • Production-level experience with event-streaming platforms (Apache Kafka, Confluent, or AWS MSK) and their integration into cloud environments.

  • Expertise in Kubernetes/Docker orchestration and cloud-native infrastructure management.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

It's a plus:

  • Strong preference for candidates with prior consulting, professional services, or direct client-facing delivery experience.

Compensation:

  • The salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $5,000 - $6,000 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.

  • This position is for a full time contract, through a payroll platform.

  • The talent will work remotely allocated at our client.

Here are the steps for this process:
Application review/approval > Screening interview with GoFasti's team > We build and send your profile to our client > Profile review/approval by client > Interview with the client > Hiring and onboarding.

Once you apply for the job, our team will review your resume. If it meets the requirements, we will contact you and move forward in the process.

Note for Candidates Approached Directly:

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
