Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger entries, ensuring all financial data is recorded accurately and on time.
- Perform account reconciliations, including bank accounts, receivables, payables, and other accounts as required.
- Support the senior accounting team with financial audits by preparing relevant documentation and providing necessary data.
- Maintain and update accounting records and files.
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status for management review.
- Ensure compliance with all internal processes and external financial regulations, including tax filings and statutory reporting.
- Assist in processing payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable as needed.
- Help prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Collaborate with other departments on cross-functional financial initiatives and projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification is a plus but not required.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance is preferred but not mandatory for entry- level candidates.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing standards (GAAP, IFRS).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
It´s a Plus:
- Familiarity with financial systems such as XERO, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP platforms.
- Experience in working with tax filings and payroll accounting.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and tax regulations.
Compensation:
- The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $800 - $1,000 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.
- This position is for an independent contractor, through a payroll platform.
- The talent will work REMOTELY allocated at our client.
