We are looking for an Ab Initio Developer to join our team and support a major banking client. The ideal candidate will have practical experience with Ab Initio tools and a solid foundation in ETL processes, data integration, and large-scale data processing. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing ETL pipelines, supporting data operations, and contributing to job migration efforts.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and support daily ETL job runs; debug and restart failed jobs as needed.
  • Implement minor enhancements and updates to existing ETL workflows.
  • Document all data transformations and business logic embedded in Ab Initio jobs.
  • Assist in the migration of ETL processes to AWS, using Spark and Scala where applicable.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Ab Initio development.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases 
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data and processing issues.

 

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with Spark and Scala.
  • Experience working in an AWS cloud environment.

 

 

Salary Range: $120,000 - $165000 annually

This range reflects the base salary that we reasonably expect to pay for Specialist Consultants. Actual compensation may vary depending on relevant factors, including experience, skills, location, and client project.
