MuleSoft Prime Account Executive — U.S. National Security / Intelligence Community
We are seeking a highly motivated and mission-driven MuleSoft Prime Account Executive to drive strategic growth within the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC) and broader National Security sector. This is a unique opportunity to bring the power of the MuleSoft platform to some of the most critical and complex technology environments in the federal government.
Key Responsibilities
Own and drive the full sales cycle for MuleSoft solutions within a defined IC and National Security account territory
Build and maintain deep, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across IC agencies, DoD components, and cleared system integrator partners
Develop and execute account strategies aligned with agency missions, modernization initiatives, and Zero Trust architectures
Collaborate cross-functionally with Salesforce National Security teams to deliver integrated, multi-cloud solutions
Navigate complex procurement vehicles (e.g., GWACs, OTAs, contract vehicles like and IC-specific vehicles) to close strategic deals
Meet and exceed revenue targets while maintaining accurate pipeline and forecast data in Salesforce CRM
Qualifications
5+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with a proven track record in the U.S. federal market — specifically within the IC or national security community
Deep understanding of IC agency structures, missions, and IT modernization priorities
Familiarity with MuleSoft, iPaaS, API management, or integration platform technologies preferred
Experience working with or selling through cleared system integrators
Active security clearance (TS/SCI with Polygraph) or ability to obtain
Strong executive presence and ability to engage at the C-suite and Senior Executive Service (SES) level

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $141,550 - $214,400 annually There is a different range applicable to specific work locations. In California and New York, and select cities in the metropolitan areas of Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington DC, the base pay range for this role in those locations is $155,700 - $235,850 per year. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
