Pentera is the market leader in AI-native Security Validation, equipping enterprises with the platform to proactively test their defenses against the latest cyber attacks. Pentera proves which exposures are truly exploitable across the entire attack surface and drives remediation workflows that reduce real risk. Anchored in real-attack validation, the Pentera platform powers the full Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) cycle, from exposure discovery through prioritization, validation, and mobilization. Thousands of security teams around the world trust Pentera to close their security gaps before threat actors can exploit them.

With over 350 team members and 1,300 customers in more than 60 countries, Pentera is a growing company supported by top investors such as Insight Partners, K1, and The Blackstone Group.

If you want to grow your skills, make an impact, and be part of an innovative team, Pentera is the place for you.

The Role

Most security sales roles have you pitching fear. This one has you proving it: an AI-native platform that emulates real attacks inside a customer’s own environment - the strongest demo in cybersecurity, because the results are the customer’s own.

You’ll run your PNW territory like a business: full cycle, first touch to close, pipeline and doors you open yourself. You’ll shape how we sell, not just run the play - and what you close moves the company’s trajectory, not just your number.

What You’ll Do

· Own the full sales cycle end to end - prospecting, discovery, demos, POCs with our Sales Engineers, negotiation, close - across enterprise accounts in the PNW.

· Self-source your pipeline: open your own doors and create demand - don’t wait for it.

· Sell to CISOs and security leaders, anchoring every conversation to their business risk, not our feature list.

· Run a modern, AI-assisted sales motion: Salesforce, Gong, Outreach/Apollo, Sales Navigator, and AI tools to research and personalize at scale.

· Forecast honestly and keep your pipeline clean - no deal goes dark without a clear next step.

· Shape the motion, not just run it - what you hear from buyers feeds Product, Marketing, and the playbook.

Requirements

What You Bring

· 5+ years of enterprise B2B sales - cybersecurity or security buyers strongly preferred.

· Proven quota attainment on full-cycle enterprise deals, first touch to close.

· A self-sourced pipeline track record: you open your own doors and build demand.

· Credible CISO-level selling - risk and outcomes, not decks and scripts.

· Proficient with the AI-assisted sales stack: Salesforce, Gong, Outreach/Apollo, Sales Navigator, AI tools.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
