About the role: 

As an Account Executive, you are an experienced sales professional responsible for acquiring net new logos for Nintex. You are comfortable navigating a complex, and strategic sale, while also driving volume deals month over month in the Midmarket. You demonstrate your experience, using in-depth professional knowledge and sales acumen to develop and resolve complex sales models and procedures. You will drive revenue growth by identifying, prospecting, and nurturing new business opportunities. Your advanced expertise in SaaS solutions and proven track record of success positions you as a key contributor to the company's sales objectives.

Your contribution will be: 

Strategic Account Management
• Complex Account Ownership: Manage large, complex, high-visibility, strategic, or tactically important accounts requiring sophisticated analytical and problem-solving techniques
• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive territory and account plans that align with company objectives and drive seamless execution of new logo pursuits
• Relationship Building: Initiate and maintain relationships with C-level decision-makers and key stakeholders across complex organizational structures
• Customer Advocacy: Act as primary customer advocate within the company, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing complex issues that require advanced problem-solving

Advanced Sales Execution
• Complex Deal Management: Lead complex sales cycles from prospecting through closing, utilizing advanced negotiation techniques and strategic thinking
• Solution Development: Conduct thorough research and discovery to understand complex business challenges and present customized, multi-faceted software solutions
• Technical Expertise: Utilize strong product knowledge and technical acumen to conduct high-level demos and articulate complex value propositions to technical and business stakeholders
• Pipeline Excellence: Manage and maintain a robust, complex sales pipeline with multiple stakeholders and extended sales cycles

Strategic Collaboration & Leadership
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with and may provide guidance to Sales Engineers, Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Success teams
• Channel Partnership: Cultivate and leverage strategic relationships with Channel Partners to source and close complex opportunities
• Knowledge Sharing: Share market insights, competitive intelligence, and best practices with team members and management

Market Intelligence & Strategy
• Industry Expertise: Maintain deep understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies within assigned market segments
• Competitive Positioning: Successfully position solutions against complex competitive scenarios and close competitive deals 

Market Feedback: Provide strategic input to product development and marketing teams based on customer feedback and market analysis

To be successful, we think you need: 

• Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred
• Minimum 7+ years of new logo sales experience with demonstrated success. 
• Proven track record in mid-market/enterprise SaaS sales with demonstrated success in complex deal cycles
• Record of success in sales with additional specialized knowledge in breadth and/or depth
• Proven experience in Microsoft and/or Salesforce enterprise environments
• Strong account management and relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset to assess customer usage data and derive insights.
• Strong account management and strategic relationship management skills at C-level
• Strong leadership qualities and mentoring abilities; motivated by developing others and strategic knowledge sharing
• Industry expertise and market knowledge preferred

Target Compensation Range (US ONLY): 200,000 - 220,000 USD annually. On target compensation refers to the base salary and applicable variable target for this role. The range is an estimate, base pay will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate's skills and experience aligned with the needs of the role. Base pay may vary based on several factors including geographic location, role specific qualifications, and seniority. Nintex also offers a competitive benefits package including paid time off, twelve paid holidays, 401(k) with employer match, and more.​
