About Clipboard

Our mission is to uplift as many communities as possible. We do this through our app-based marketplace that connects healthcare professionals with the workplaces that need amazing workers. This enables hundreds of thousands of people to achieve financial stability for themselves and their families while providing essential care to millions of people across the U.S.

Founded in 2016, we are a remote-first team of over 1,000 people building a top Y-Combinator company and have been profitable since 2022. We’re the leader in Long-Term Care staffing and are rapidly expanding into Home Health, Hospitals, and more, meaning we have more work to do than people to do it, and are growing our team to support millions more people and their communities.

Excited about what we're building? We'd be grateful if you'd spread the word. If you know a friend, former colleague, or someone exceptional you'd love to work with again, refer them here.

About the Role

Clipboard is transforming the talent marketplace by connecting workplaces with professionals they need, when they need them.

Our Sales team is growing fast and we're doing work that genuinely matters whilst having a load of fun - check out this profile of Kushal to get a taste of what life in the team is like.

As an Account Executive, you'll own and grow Clipboard's presence across the country, with an emphasis on your local market: building relationships, signing new facility partners, and ensuring customers succeed on our platform. You'll primarily be selling to prospects via phone and email, though the role will require occasional travel to facilities in your immediate area and occasional overnight travel. Your success in the role is measured by the revenue generated by new customers.

We're hiring across the U.S. to help shape Clipboards's next stage of growth. Whether you're an early-career builder looking to learn fast, or an experienced seller/operator ready ti hit the ground running, there's opportunity at Clipboard.

What You'll Do

  • Prospect, pitch, and close new healthcare facility partners predominantly via Inside Sales channels

  • Occasionally visit prospects and current customers in your local area to optimize their own business outcomes & Clipboard's

  • Attend conferences, Clipboard-run local events, and other industry functions

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Long Term Care (LTC) landscape and competitors

  • Partner with internal teams to deliver an excellent customer experience

  • Maintain clear pipeline and activity tracking in CRM (B2B Sales Environment)

Who You Are and What You Bring

As mentioned above, we’re rapidly growing our team and need both more junior & more senior folks in most markets. Below you’ll find what we’re looking for for both profiles.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across clinical and business audiences

  • Curiosity, persistence, and a bias for action

  • Organization and autonomy in managing your own schedule and pipeline

  • A reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and ability to travel locally (10-20%)

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary + uncapped commission

  • Insurance benefits and 401k options

  • Unlimited PTO and flexible holidays

  • Mileage reimbursement and/or travel stipend

  • Remote flexibility

  • Clear growth path into senior IC or management roles

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
