Remote Accountant responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements and reports, conducting financial analysis, ensuring compliance, supporting budgeting and forecasting, handling accounts payable/receivable, and performing reconciliations to maintain accurate records.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, accounting principles, and financial management. Experience with LIHTC, QuickBooks, and accrual accounting is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the company's financial transactions and accounts
- Prepare financial statements and reports for review
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making processes
- Ensure compliance with all accounting regulations and standards
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Handle accounts payable and receivable functions
- Perform reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Proven experience working as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) is a plus
- Excellent financial acumen and attention to detail
